Just a quick update on the expansion at our Mission Repair location in Lenexa. We just added a new shipping and receiving space that is sure to streamline our process immediately.
Here’s Lennie after a long hard day at work getting some of the counters installed, I think he must have put in 16 hours of “construction” work on Saturday into the late evening hours. Good job Lennie.
I can’t wait to see this new space when it’s completed. We do have shipping and receiving capability at our location in Mission, Kansas but it’s already cramped in there so I can only imagine how jealous Derrick will be when he sees this. It looks like there’s just a little more tile work to do and some trim work, then this area is ready to house 4 employees. Wonderful.
Speaking of shipping and receiving…did you see my last post about shipping devices into us? Let me remind you that even though we have less than a .1% shipping damage rate, some packages do get damaged or lost in shipping. It doesn’t matter if you use FedEx, UPS or the Post Office, they all do it. Start your repair off right by making sure that you package your device correctly (in a box, not an envelope!) per our online shipping instructions here. It will make life a whole lot easier for you. If you’re local to us and want to stop on by, you don’t need a tape gun for that!
Take care, Ryan
Happy Labor Day weekend, it’s almost here!
Mission Repair will be closed Labor Day, but we’re still here Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm local time. Rather than laboring at work, at home, or in the yard, a lot of consumers put their energy toward some serious bargain hunting on this special day. We’re here to help!
Come on down to one of our locations or place your order online and use coupon code “LABOROFLOVE” for a 15% discount on your new repair order now through Sunday 9/6/15 at midnight.
If you are stopping by one of our walk-in locations be sure to print off this blog and present it to your customer service representative. We hope you get to relax on Monday, fire up the BBQ, go to the lake, stay in to clean the house or do whatever makes you happy. But if you’re looking to save on that next iPhone, Mac or tablet repair, now is the time.
Have a great weekend,
Your Friends At Mission:Repair
(Offer cannot be combined with any other coupon, including Got Repair. Valid on NEW orders only. Expires 9/6/15 at midnight.)
A quote from the great – Kermit the Frog – “it’s not easy bein’ green” has been a theme over at our new location that is due to open on 4/1/14. Why is that catchy Sesame Street song “sticking” do you ask?
We added some “Mission Repair Green” tint to the front glass at Mission Repair Express and when the sun hits the window just right…well…the picture tells a lot below:
It’s not easy being green.
So it’s a bit TOO green. Like emerald green. Everywhere! It feels like you’re swimming in a Shamrock Shake (a McDonalds treat if you didn’t know). The bottom line: Our excitement to add a little color took our “company colors” to a whole new level. We have a solution to fix this “St. Patrick’s Day” hue – so don’t worry. I promise you won’t get queasy if you stop by our new site at our grand opening!
Speaking of grand opening – it’s set for April, 1st, 2014. However we are running a bit AHEAD of schedule and you heard it here first; I am now shooting to be open starting on St. Patrick’s day 2014. A fitting day to commence the GRAND OPENING OF MISSION REPAIR EXPRESS!
So, this is aggressive for us and we’re on the right track. Flooring is going to be installed this weekend then it’s just the final touches that need to be completed. Will it be done? Will we have the luck of the Irish? Irish I was complete with project 😉 A silly pun is all the motivation that I need!
Thanks for all of the interest and calls about our new Mission Repair Express location – the press release will hit soon for the masses to read. But you heard it here first, another reason that check in with us here on the blog.
Hello my friends and family-
After 6 years of being in business, we are expanding our hours so that you don’t need to rush to get here right after work during the week. In fact, until yesterday, my technical staff also went home at 5 pm every day…
This is in response the the numerous requests from our customers that tend to work during the day and then would appreciate a little time after work to be able to call or visit our location to have their iPhone repaired for example 😉
What about the technicians? Yes, they will be here too until 7pm each night so we will have the ability to work on your devices for hours longer than normal, as we are going to mitigate and try to eliminate the need to leave your device at our location overnight. Express Service is how we are modeling ourselves and here’s the first step in the right direction.
I’ve said it before…sleep is for the weak 😉
Speaking of “weak” have a great “weekend” and I’ll be back on Monday with a few more announcements.
I’m back in the office after a successful motivational speech at the Spring Hill High School here in the Kansas City area. I’m actually exhausted – it’s nerve wracking to get up on stage and speak to an auditorium full of students!
I had to change my game plan a bit after I arrived, so it became more of an impromptu “talk” more than anything. Overall it was a success and I’m sure that different students took away different pieces of my “rant”. I got a lot of thank you’s and applause from the crowd which also feels good.
So, I just launched myself into the “Motivational Speaker” business and I come cheap 😉 Let me know if I can help out your group!
Ryan Arter, Mission Repair
Hello everyone and happy-post-Easter yo you!
It’s April 1st – and as there are likely a lot of April’s Fools pranks being pulled around the country, it’s also time to celebrate another Mission Repair Anniversary.
What’s it like running a business year after year? Well, I can honestly tell you that I’m still learning something new every day while growing and adding value to the business as it accelerates. I often get asked “how big is Mission Repair?”. Well, I guard a lot of that business information carefully as the sole owner, but I’ll tell you that we have now occupied 4 buildings in our business complex which puts us as the majority occupants. This means that it’s almost time to purchase a new building so we can keep up with the growth a demand, and quite frankly we need more parking space!
Today is a time for me personally to reflect on the life as an owner / operator and enjoy what can be accomplished with a ton of hard work.
What can you enjoy?
We are are receiving in a ton of local walk in business and actually when I popped into the business on Saturday there was a line wrapped out the front door of people waiting to either drop off or pickup from us. It was a sight to see.
So for today, I have a special coupon code for every walk in customer that we will apply to each order as delivered today. Stop on by for extra savings when you use Mission Repair, and while you’re at it, ask for a piece of anniversary cake, it’s amazing!
Have a great day everyone.
