Hello everyone, this is just a quick post to let you know that Mission Repair will be closed on the 4th of July this year. It’s an interesting year in which the 4th falls on a Wednesday- it makes it tough to really get out and do some late night fun – however it’s most certainly one of my favorite holidays of the year.
Here’s to our freedom, and the home of the brave!
So I was writing this blog and decided that I needed to look up the lyrics to our National Anthem )as I started singing it in my head) for a quick correction. Have you read them lately? Not a problem, I snagged a copy off of the good old internet for ya:
“O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there,
