Hello M:R Nation –
We are having some interesting weather in Kansas City during the month of January. We finally had our first snow of the winter, the have experienced well below zero temperatures (which is not at all uncommon) and today, it is sunny with the high of 69-72 degrees.
Now, I have lived in this area for most of my life and this has got me scratching my head. Kansas and Missouri are known for their extreme temperatures in either direction, but this is just crazy. I guess we will enjoy it while we can… I hear there is also snow in the forecast for this week!
I could get used to this!

Hello M:R Nation –
I have a few blokes here at Mission Repair that were talking about participating in “No Shave November”. The main reason for this is to raise awareness for men’s health, but there have been many tales of its origins. I myself, think its simply an excuse to be lazy and I embrace that!
I have a total of 8 gents that I will be chronicling for the next 4 weeks. I will take a picture of their progress once a week and post it right here on our wonderful blog!

So here they are, the 8 brave/lazy souls participating in this storied tradition(I’ll spare you and them of a large sized picture )! As you can see, some of them already have a head start. This should make for some epic beardness for sure! While I sport quite the fancy beard myself, I am not 100% sure that I will let it grow rugged yet. I will keep you updated on that decision.
We like to turn things into a competition around here and this is going to be no different. While I have no idea on how I will decide the winner yet, I do know the prize. I find it a much needed prize to be handed out in this situation.It is a years subscription to the Dollar Shave Club paid for by Mission Repair! I love this company and am a proud member so I can vouch for the prize!

Good morning M:R Nation –
With all of this talk of Samsung Stratosphere and Samsung Galaxy S III services going on, I want to make sure we are not ignoring the other great phones that Samsung is pumping out. With many smartphones in their arsenal, the Droid Charge i510 is yet another superstar that has made many people happy. Boasting a hummingbird chipset, an 8MP camera and a “Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen” what is there to be upset about?
One reason to be upset
Well, lets say that “Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen” were to crack on you. I think that justifies a little anger. We unfortunately see this all the time and its a true bummer. Just think about it, we spend more time with our smartphones than with any other object or being and when we have our smartphones in less than ideal condition, it just sucks. There is no other way to put it. Just ask Ryan, he would be happy to share the experience!
