Hello friends-
If you’ve ever read any of my blogs, you might notice that I don’t talk much about a few topics.
Politics. I don’t talk about em, unless it’s a neutral discussion and even then it’s extremely rare.
Religion. Nope, just won’t do it. I respect everyone’s opinion and personal beliefs, but this blog isn’t where you’ll hear my opinion on the matter. In fact, I debated on whether or not to even type the word “religion” if that tells you anything.
Sports. This is almost as bad as my first two. I don’t pick sides and if I ever talk about sports it’s in a general manner. In fact, unless you know me well, you have no idea what sports teams I like or root for anyhow!
With that being said, it’s pretty hard to not talk about to Kansas City Royals here at the office today. It’s a major topic of conversation and I’m glad that this team is breaking some long-standing dry spells. However I feel for the Angels whose season is over; it’s not a good feeling when you get so close but can’t move on.
I can vouch for Kansas City fans that have been waiting a lifetime (in some cases) to get into the playoffs, and I think that their consistency in the last 4 games has been the key to their success so far. If they keep it up, they might make a bigger statement soon.
Another thing that you might not know about me, is that I’m not originally from the Kansas City area. I moved out here as a single father to do what I do best, and that’s ELECTRONICS REPAIRS. I’ve been here since 2001 and a short 13 years later, still in business, and still supporting Kansas City and all that the area strives for. Congrats to the Kansas City Royals and the Baltimore Orioles for winner yesterday! Today brings us with another couple of games, and I’m excited to see the outcome.
Have a great day, Ryan
