Where in the world is Mission Repair?

If you live in the Kansas City area, you know all about our ongoing highway repairs!

Sometimes navigating Kansas City highways is a real nightmare! While it may look like our Lenexa store is impossible to get to, we’re here to tell you that even though the 95th Street Exit off of I35 is temporarily closed, Mission Repair in Lenexa is busier than ever.  In fact we had customers waiting for us to open this morning as we arrived.  It’s that time of year!

On a daily basis we hear “I didn’t realize that you were still open” or “I’m glad that you aren’t taking a long vacation!” because if you live in Kansas City you know that there is some major construction happening at the I-435 and I-35 Interchange.  It’s worked it’s way up to the 95th Street Exit (where you’d normally turn to go to Costco and our store) and at the end of the summer the improvements are going to be nothing short of spectacular.

We are really excited to see the new traffic flow, and the new interchange will lead customers right to our doorstep.  Until then, everyone that visits us in Lenexa just simply needs to exit off of I-35 onto 87th Street and go WEST.  Then immediately get onto Marshall Drive and head SOUTH until you find Mission Repair.  If you make it to Costco, you’ve gone just a little too far!

In fact we’ve already ordered road signs that will line the streets and guide you into our service lab and you’ll see those soon; but for now if you have any questions on how to get here just give us a call at 844-459-0105 or send us an email and we’ll be glad to help.

Never fear, Mission Repair is here.  In fact, we had some similar construction at our Mission location a couple of years ago, and it seemed that we got busier during the construction.  It appears that history is repeating itself.

Have a great day,

Your Friends at Mission:Repair

This is a nice surprise.

Good afternoon!

I headed out to lunch today and needed to get some gas in my truck and I stopped at the Costco that is just around the corner from our Lenexa Store.  I was pleasantly surprised with this:

I know that there are a lot of pictures of gas prices on Facebook and random pics floating around the Internet, but today here in Kansas City at Costco, gas is $1.329/gallon.  That’s darn near the lowest I’ve seen since I moved here in 2001!

It’s an election year, so that’s got something to do with it, right?  I’m sure the Democrats want a “thank you”.  I’d also bet the Republicans would like to take credit.  I don’t know who to thank – nor do I really care – so I’m going to just give a huge “shout out” to the gasoline gods that helped make my day by only costing me about $21 to fill up my tank this afternoon.  I don’t normally mind if gas goes up and down much; but today made a good impression.

Speaking of savings…we are extending our Presidents Day Sale through Saturday – but you’ll only know the coupon code if you get our NEWSLETTER (HINT – another one is coming to you tonight!).  Hopefully you’ve already subscribed, if not, you should do so here!

Have a good evening, Ryan

Just for your information in case you were stopping by our Lenexa office!

Hi there!  If you live in the Kansas City area, you probably know that there is a HUGE “GATEWAY” project that is currently under construction near the I35 and I435 interchange.  In fact, there have been an amazing number of improvements in the last few months, and traffic is already flowing correctly in many areas.

Now it’s time for the crews to move Northbound, and this will effect the roads leading to Mission Repair in Lenexa.

Typically, I’d tell my customers to exit I35 and go West onto 95th Street.  People in the area know this exit well and it’s very commercialized with Costco on the West and Sam’s Club to the East.  We’ve got the Oak Park Mall which seems to be busy year round, and it’s just past Sam’s Club.  I don’t know how people will be getting the East easily, but all of the businesses on the West have a real plan in place!

Starting next Monday, instead of getting off at 95th Street, our customers will Exit one more off ramp North on 87th Street, and turn West.  Then quickly turn right onto Marshall Drive and head South to reach our service lab.  Now this intersection may get a little busy for a while…all of the Costco traffic will also head South and drive right by Mission Repair…so don’t be surprised if you see me out on the road from time-to-time waving customers in.  We will have a significant number of new vehicles passing our location and I am really excited for that!!

Well I thought that I’d share this map and this info so you knew that not only are all of the businesses will remain open during this major upgrade to the Kansas City area, but I have a feeling it’s really going to spike business here at Mission Repair as we will be in front of more customers than ever before.  Thanks for reading!

NOTE:  If you visit our Mission, Kansas location, you’re in the clear!!

Take care, Ryan
