iPod Repair at Mission Repair.

Hello there-

With all of the data that we store at Mission Repair from the hundreds of thousands of repairs that we’ve performed for customers all across the country, I can see that iPod Repairs USED to be our number one service in terms of total numbers;

But this year they have been surpassed by the iPhone repairs that we offer. We still service a significant amount of 4th Generation iPod Touch screens, and I think that my techs can do it in their sleep. In fact, we just trained Casey our newest technician to repair these yesterday to help break the monotony on the production line.

Also, it’s true that since the discontinuation of the iPod Classic by Apple, the demand for 160GB hard drives (the behemoth) has been on the rise, and the supplies and replacement drives are becoming more rare and expensive. Just a tidbit for those that like to keep 160GB of music on them at all times! Depending on how the music is formatted, that’s somewhere in the neighborhood of 28,000 songs. That should keep you busy for a while, but be sure to take care of that hard drive. Soon, they will be impossible to get!

Mission Repair contruction – again. It seems to never stop but there’s a COUPON INSIDE!

Hello friends, it’s been a whirlwind week here at Mission Repair. I find myself saying that a lot, but truthfully we are really busy. In fact, Monday of this week April 6, 2015 – we had a record receiving day for repairs – the most in company history. More than Cyber Monday, Black Friday, or any other normal “big” day for us.

What was so special about April 6th? Not a thing that I can tell. We are working diligently on our marketing and trying a few new things…

Which leads me to our newest expansion. We are creating a new shipping and receiving room at our Corporate Headquarters in Olathe. We just need more space. Truth is that we are moving from one building to the next, but the shipping and receiving area that we have now if just too small for our needs. Hence the expansion. Luckily, we had the room…for the new room!

The sheetrock is up, and right now it’s in the “messy” stage with a lot of dust and debris everywhere. But once it’s done, we’ll have even better capabilities than before. Adding this 500 square feet of dedicated space will also help us stay organized, “on the ready” and will even keep our employees in a climate controlled room during the summer. We’ve tried to work in a space without air conditioning before, and it is just a little bit miserable in the summers.

It’s getting exciting here in Colorado!

Hello friends,

What a day. It’s been *almost* a record-breaking sales day here at Mission Repair and all of our locations are rockin! Thanks so much for all of our new customers today, it’s been amazing. We are working hard to stay ahead of the curve and I’m working equally hard at preparing for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony here in Lakewood, Colorado tomorrow at 4:00pm. We’re decorating the office as we speak and the list of fun and goodies is just fun to think about!

It feels like a Mission Repair birthday party in here, but that’s not actually until April!

Let’s celebrate! Mission Repair Lakewood is open and rocking!

Hello friends, thanks for your patience as we got our Colorado location up and running…and thank you to every one of our new customers (and 2 repeat customers) that came into the store yesterday! It’s great to see that we’re welcome here in the Denver area! Once we shut down, closed the doors, and revisited our day yesterday, I splurged with a toast to this Colorado crew.

Yes it’s true, we didn’t have formal glass stemware, no party favors or music, but we did get to celebrate a little as all of our efforts were realized at the end of the day.

Now it’s February 3rd, 2015 and we’re back at it from the Lakewood location until tomorrow afternoon. Some of us will be heading back to Olathe, Kansas tomorrow and back to the Corporate headquarters after we close tomorrow night. That will leave our crew here in Lakewood to do their thing…and it’s looking like we will be continuing to interview for the technician and customer service positions, so give us a call at 720-897-6297 to set up an interview if you’re interested!
