Nationwide Repairs a Reality!

Hello there blog readers!

For most of you, it’s already common knowledge that we offer repair services to the entire USA, but lets review our mail-in procedures so we can all avoid a few simple unnecessary mistakes that can ruin the process for everyone.

Sending in an iPhone?  This box is too big!

1.  You can use our “email label service” that will allow you to print out an address label on a normal sheet of printer paper from your home or office, which you can tape to the outside of your package for shipment INTO Mission Repair!  Of course you can always send your device into us using your own shipping service, but our email label service is easy!

2.  Speaking of packaging, we have a few simple rules that everyone should follow.  Do not send your device into us in an envelope!  Envelopes do not provide enough protection for sensitive electronic devices but if you do use an envelope, you should expect that additional damage will be incurred on the way into Mission Repair, or even loss of the device entirely.  If we receive an empty envelope, there’s not much we can do to help to recover your device.

Use about 2” of padding to protect your device on the way into us and use a box that will be a good size for the device plus the padding.  FedEx, UPS and USPS offer FREE BOXES to those that use the corresponding services.  Remember, if you’re deciding to have that expensive iPhone or iPad repaired, you’re going to want to treat it with respect even if it has a cracked screen.  Once we get it, we’ll take care of that!

3.  If you’re not using our “email label service”, you should insure your package for it’s replacement value.  Remember that even if you insure an iPhone for $1000 and if it’s lost or damaged in shipping, you will only receive the current market value of the device itself – apps, software or “extras” will hold no value; and only if it’s packaged correctly.  So it’s a good idea to do a simple eBay search on your device to see what a current market value would be, then insure your package for that amount.

For more tips and advice on shipping, you can view our shipping instructions on our website here that have been available for 8 years.  The bottom line is that if you follow some simple and easy instructions, your device will be moved from your location, into Mission Repair, and back to you in perfect shape.

Have a great morning, Ryan

OK, we’re almost LIVE on TV! Coupon code inside.

Hello there everyone!

I’m getting a little anxious now. We’re going live on NBC’s Action News tomorrow morning between 10am and 11am…we’ve got a time slot that’s sure to be interesting. I’ve got a special surprise in place and we’re going to repair an iPhone ON CAMERA tomorrow to show you just how good we really are 😉

We’ve got the best techs on the planet, so I’m sure that we’re going to knock it out of the park- at least I hope we will! There’s a positive if we make a huge bumbling mistake: it will be funny. There’s nothing better than comedy TV.

We’re going to knock it out of the park!

So if you’re in the Kansas City area, remember to tune into the NBC Action News at 10am tomorrow. If you miss the broadcast, not to worry – I will post it here for everyone to see. Whether it goes off without a hitch or if it’s “funny” you’ll see us doing our thing.

To commemorate this great LIVE TV event, we are giving 15% off ANY ORDER at Mission Repair now through Friday July 27, 2012. Just use coupon code “NBC” and watch that 15% disappear. But hurry, this is a limited time offer.

iPad repairs are rolling out. I’m not sure why we ever take a day off!

Hello folks, I’ve been trying to get back to the blog today but it’s has been a busy day around good old Mission Repair. In fact, we are quickly approaching our “record-breaking” mark for number of orders in a single day and it’s only 5:00pm here in Kansas City. I think that we will reach that milestone shortly!

All of this activity really slows us down on the rest of the necessary daily activities – like blogging – or emails – or taking out the trash 😉 I think that we are still a little backlogged from the day off last week when the entire company was closed for the 4th of July. It’s always a nice break to get out of the office and take some time with our families but honestly it really cramps the business when we return.

As a business owner, it’s fine with me. But as a working owner, I understand the pressures that it puts on the employees. I’m feeling it too!

So it is the end of the day, I am able to sit down and jot out a few words. I just wanted to stop and say “thank you” for all of your business, praise and input. We are doing our best here providing the nation with the most amazing iPad Repair service and fixing cracked iPhones by the truckload. . .and I will continue to improve our service packages.

Remember if you need us, just call 866-638-8402. We are open 7 days a week but remember if it’s 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas, we’ll be relaxing for a minute.

Have a great day, Ryan
