Yay…it’s Monday afternoon!

Hello again folks,

It’s a “slammin” day at Mission Repair today, and we’re taking what appears to be a record number of orders on this fine 6th of July. The day started off like any other Monday, but we’re reaching a few more customers than ever before.

Additionally today, we received a new lease to a new location here in the Kansas City area to expand our “home base” so to speak. This new location will not only have shipping and receiving capabilities, but it will boasts a huge 20′ sign that is directly against the main highway here in Kansas City, I35. If you’re one of the 120,000 cars that pass it every day, you won’t miss it.

So now I’m in the preparation mode of moving, shifting, hiring, and restructuring a few things so we can more efficiently serve our customers. With this new location that is just about directly in between my Olathe, Kansas store and our Mission, Kanas location…we will be poised to help the “drive in” for about a thousand customers a month.

In fact, I’m sure that this new location will make some of my employees happy because most of them live in the area of the new site. This must mean that we will be hiring at Mission Repair in Olathe soon! I’d bet on it!

Small business ownership is an interesting way to live your life, and when it’s difficult at times, it’s the most rewarding at others. Its kind of like having kids. The “highs are high” and the “lows are low”. Like a roller coaster that you can’t get off 😉

So we’re heading up the hill again and I have my hands raised in the air waiting for the big drop and excitement that’s ahead. Clank-clank-clank (that’s my roller coaster sounds climbing up the hill) and away we’ll go.

I will be announcing our new location in Kansas very soon, and we’ll be open faster than you think. Oh yeah, someone asked me about our Indiana location this morning and I wanted to let you know that I’m heading back to Indianapolis to bring the best iPhone repair center to the metro area…we’ll be there next week.

Back to work for me. It’s only 4:00pm and we’ve got a long afternoon ahead of us. Talk to you again soon.

Ryan

Yay…It’s Monday!

Hello readers, thanks for checking back with us. Our blog is getting great response and we’re happy to fill you in on our adventures. Just for your information, we were closed on Saturday in observance of Independence Day so it’s especially busy today!

Michael and Peter at our Lakewood store are already rocking. That new location is going to get the full LED lit retail sign this week, I’m really excited to see it after it’s installed on Thursday!

There’s a lot going on over here at Mission Repair in Olathe as well. We were thinking that this week before the holiday would be a little slower as people packed up and headed out of town. In fact it was just the opposite. It’s obvious that customers need their devices repaired to keep the kids busy on those long road trips! Thank goodness for hand-held portable devices, or else we’d all have to go back to playing “License Plate Bingo” in the car. (Actually, I still do that when I’m on the road!)

In fact this weekend, we’re not going anywhere. After so much time on the road I’m finally back in town and I can just going to “reset” myself starting Friday at 5:00pm. I know that it’s only Monday, but just 5 short days until the week is complete for me. Hopefully I’ll be able to get outside and smoke some BBQ on Saturday which equals me sitting around “watching” my Big Green Egg for about 8 hours. Sounds like an easy way to spend a day!

Have a great week, Ryan

Welcome a new employee to Mission Repair in Olathe…

Good morning, all of the blogs today have been about our Lakewood, Colorado location so it’s time to welcome our newest employee in Olathe, Kansas.

New-Employee

Dylan started just about a week ago in customer service and hasn’t looked back! He’s been on the phones constantly, working hard and learning the business as fast as he can. If you’ve called into our Main Service Lab in Olathe lately, you may have gotten Dylan on the phone. He meets our checklist of a hard-working, team oriented, skilled individual.

I’ve been watching him and he’s making it a priority to answer a ringing telephone first before any other customer service representative. I believe it’s like a game to him, and frankly I don’t even think that the phone is getting a full “ring” in and he’s greeting the customer on the other end. It’s kind of nice! 😉

Well, if you need him his email is “dylan@missionrepair.com“. Welcome to the team…

Ryan

Mission Repair Review – 5 Stars!

We just got another new review. BN gave Mission Repair 5 stars.

“Easy to do, inexpensive and done right

I’ve had three devices repaired. Each one was done right. The price was cheaper than the local walk-in places and they were completed and shipped promptly. One required more than expected and I received a call explaining the situation and detailing my options. Highly recommend them.”

Thanks for your help BN, we really appreciate the business! Have a good weekend.

Best, Ryan
