Is the iPad “MEGA” on it’s way?

Hi there,

I’m not sure if you follow the rumor mill or not when it comes to Apple products, but there’s a buzz about a 12.9″ iPad that may hit this year. Apple’s iPad kickstarted the tablet craze and recent rumors suggest the world’s most valuable company has an even bigger one on the way.

According to an online report from Taiwanese blog “DigiTimes”, components for a 12.9″ iPad are being readied for Apple to take delivery in September.

However, because demand for tablets is slowing, the technology giant has lowered its initial supply order.

So while a larger iPad could be available by the end of the year, you might not necessarily be able to get hold of one – Apple had a similar delay for the launch of the Apple Watch, although that was due to not being able to get hold of enough components in the first place.

Apple’s current iPads are either 9.7-inches (iPad Air and iPad Air 2) or 7.9-inches (iPad mini 3 and iPad mini 2).

It’s exciting to think that the electronics giant will be adding a new form factor to the lineup, which means that we here at Mission Repair will be adding it to our iPad repair lineup as well.

I remember thinking that no one would want a huge iPhone like the iPhone 6 Plus; but clearly I was wrong. So I’m going to take a new approach to the new “iPad Mega” (that’s what I’m calling it anyway) and say that I’m POSITIVE that consumers will love it. I’d suggest just keeping it out of the hands of your 3-year old. . .it’s going to take two GROWN UP hands to handle this one! We’ll see…

Happy Tuesday, Ryan

Welcome a new employee to Mission Repair in Olathe…

Good morning, all of the blogs today have been about our Lakewood, Colorado location so it’s time to welcome our newest employee in Olathe, Kansas.

New-Employee

Dylan started just about a week ago in customer service and hasn’t looked back! He’s been on the phones constantly, working hard and learning the business as fast as he can. If you’ve called into our Main Service Lab in Olathe lately, you may have gotten Dylan on the phone. He meets our checklist of a hard-working, team oriented, skilled individual.

I’ve been watching him and he’s making it a priority to answer a ringing telephone first before any other customer service representative. I believe it’s like a game to him, and frankly I don’t even think that the phone is getting a full “ring” in and he’s greeting the customer on the other end. It’s kind of nice! 😉

Well, if you need him his email is “dylan@missionrepair.com“. Welcome to the team…

iPad screen repairs at the lowest prices ever! It’ll shock you.

Hello my blog reading friends,

We are in the middle of a serious “price slashing” at Mission Repair. We just procured a huge quantity of iPad glass for the Original iPad, the iPad 2, the New iPad (iPad 3) and the iPad with Retina display…and we’re passing the savings onto you.

For example, we are now repairing the original iPad with cracked glass (FULL SERVICE!) for less than $100 installed! That’s parts, labor, warranty and the Mission Repair TRIPLE CHECK guarantee.

This is the LOWEST price available. Just so you know, some of our competition will see this price drop and then try to match us – but it’s just not that easy when it comes to duplicating the value that each customer receives from Mission Repair. We know that price plays a big role in the decision making process when choosing a repair center, but when you use Mission Repair, you’ll also get (at no additional charge):

  • 24 hour turnaround. However in most cases, it’ll be repaired and shipped back the same day it’s received. If you need same day service, just ask!
  • 1 year manufacturers warranty on the part and labor.
  • Our exclusive GOT REPAIR benefit, that means if you ever crack or damage your glass again, just call us and we will fix it again under our amazing program!
  • The industry’s lowest shipping prices back to your doorstep. This isn’t just “toss it in the mail” shipping either. It’s FedEx shipping that insured and will also require a signature upon arrival if you desire so your repaired device isn’t going to get lost or stolen!
  • Triple check Quality Control. Your device will be pre-tested before repair, repaired and tested, then tested for Quality Assurance before being sent back to you. That’s our TRIPLE CHECK guarantee that it’ll be sent out repaired or you’ll pick it up repaired correctly!

Don’t forget that Mission Repair has been awarded the Top Ten Reviews GOLD AWARD and AWARD for EXCELLENCE as the best iPhone repair website on the Internet. We are in the business of repair and we are here to take care of our customers. We are excited about this deal and happy to bring you the best pricing and value for your money on the Internet. It brings a smile to my face, and that’s a good thing. I want to bring a smile to yours as well 😉

Also, if you’d like us to send you a box to pickup your iPad, that’s not a problem! Check out a quick movie about our packaging here:

Have a great Thursday afternoon everyone. Let us know if you have any questions – customer service representatives are standing by! 866-638-8402.

I just realized that October is half way through.

Good morning again.

I don’t want to be a “glass is half empty” kind of guy. But we are at the mid-point of October and the gears are really spinning up here at Mission Repair. This is the very beginning of our “busy season” which lasts through the end of January so we are doing everything we can to prepare the business for this holiday season.

But it’s already October 15th. Yikes.

keepcalm

All of the big holidays are approaching quickly: Halloween is right around the corner. Then Thanksgiving. Then Christmas. Next would be New Years. Then most importantly it’ll be my birthday. Alright, that’s not a big holiday to some of you, I can understand that. In fact, once I hit the big “4-0” I’ve not been looking forward to my birthdays as much myself!

We’ve got big plans at Mission Repair this year to take care of business. In fact, we’ve sold a record number of iPad glass repairs this month and we’re not even half way through the month. That’s because if you didn’t notice, we lowered our price on the iPad 2 screen repairs to an all-time low. Stock in hand and right now at a 14% savings (no coupon needed) we are completing iPad screen repairs as fast as they are coming in.

Tidbit: Did you know that 32% of all iPads in consumers hands right now are iPad 2?

It’s ok if you still not in the market for an iPad repair. If you’re waiting for other specials from Mission Repair, hang in there. We’ve got a long list of services and specials coming down from the top (that’s me) over the next several weeks and months.

Give us a call if we can help 866-638-8402.

Take care, Ryan
