Great start to 2016!

Happy 2016!

It gets me every year the first time I write check (this time it was at Costco!) and I actually scribble the numbers “2016” on paper…it’s official, it’s sunk in, and I couldn’t be happier.

2016

So how did you spend your New Year?  Did you celebrate?  Did you go out?

I actually stayed at home for the ball drop, which was nice because it was pretty icy out and not worth the risk to drive with any potential roaming “party goers”.  So that felt pretty good.

The next day, I headed to the Hollywood Casino next to the Kansas Speedway with my mother and Dandra.  It’s a tradition.  Didn’t win much but I did have a mean “Cookie Sunday Dessert” at their awesome restaurant Turn 2.

Saturday was a day filled with getting caught up on the first 6 Star Wars episodes so we are prepped and ready to see the newest one in the theater.  Hopefully we’ll be able to catch a showing within the next week.

And yesterday was spent watching a little football (well, a lot of football) and what a glorious day it was.  It’s nice to get the regular season out of the way and now into the playoffs.  It looks like it’s going to be a great set of games.

Finally last night Casey and I were able to carve out some time to install his new radiator in his Toyota Tundra.  Neither of us really wanted to do it, but it’s done and his truck is running great.  You may remember my earlier blog about this!

Now that it’s “Back to Work” day, I’ve been enjoying a nice morning crafting a few blogs, taking care of some price decreases on the website and about to head to lunch for something tasty.

I’ll be back soon, but I hope your New Year Holiday was a great as mine, I’m feeling really good about 2016 for sure!

Take care, Ryan

“Clash Of Clans” Anyone?

Hello M:R Nation –

Have you ever heard of a game called “Clash Of Clans”? This game is something else. I have not only been obsessed with it since seeing a national commercial for it, I have been kicked out of a clan by my own brother and denied access to a new clan by Lennie, one of my employees here at Mission Repair. So I guess what I am saying is when it comes to this game, having blood relations nor signing someones paycheck matters. It is every person for themselves.

I have been playing the game for about a month and this is as far as I have gotten: photo

If you play this game, you can tell that i’m at a pretty intermediate level. I come nowhere close to some of my technicians and I think ever Ryan (Owner of Mission Repair) is doing better than me 🙂 I mean, can you really blame us? Even the Kansas City Royals are addicted to this game and they… well play games for a living.

So where is the relevancy here to broken stuff? Well, let me just tell you about an email I received yesterday that is the motivation behind this post.

I received an email from a VERY upset mother from California who had just witnessed her son throw his iPad Mini due to an “epic loss in an Attack”. She said “not only did he throw the iPad, he almost took out the TV in the process! Now the screen is cracked and it won’t do anything when he slides his finger on it.” While I didn’t dare tell her that I understood the frustration her son felt, I wisely identified with her and mentioned my experiences, as my son had also cracked the screen on his iPad…3 times.

In short, we were able to set her up with our iPad Mini Glass Repair Service  and at the same time, give her son a well needed break from this horribly addictive game, that feeds of the impatience of blokes such as myself. I guess thats why the makers of this game rakes in $5,000,000 a day.

Anywho, if you find yourself in the same position as this poor mother, give us a call @ 866-638-8402. We will not only repair the device that your child or husband threw, but we can also hold onto it for a few weeks to give them a much need cleansing if you’d prefer :-).

Cheers, Troy

Deal Of The Week

Good Morning M:R Nation –

We are back to work on this beautiful Wednesday morning and its all of the sudden 2013. I have already caught myself writing 2012 ion several occasions and I am sure you have too ;-).

With the new year comes a whole set of new challenges, repair services and customers that we are excited to take care of. No doubt this year you will see companies like Apple, Samsung and HTC release new products that will surly need repairing. You never know, we might even see the elusive Apple LED TV. Should I make a prediction?

I’ll hold off on any predictions at the moment and give you something more tangible. How about a Deal Of The Week?!?!

Yes, I agree that this the absolute best way to start off 2013 and I can’t think of a better service to offer a deal on than the iPad 2 Glass and Digitizer Front Panel Repair Service – Black and iPad 2 Glass and Digitizer Front Panel Repair Service – White. These were some of our best sellers in 2012 and its time to start out strong again with these great machines.

Enjoy the savings while it lasts!

Cheers, Troy

A little Glitch

Hello M:R Nation –

Yesterday we had a tiny glitch with Missionrepair.com that had a not so tiny effect. We were shut down for nearly 2 hours and working hard to get it back up and running. This glitch also derailed our wonderful blog as well. We found and corrected the issues and we are back to 100% now!

Were-Sorry

For those of you that we missed in those two hours, I would like to extend a special discount. Please email me at troy@missionrepair.com and I will gladly hand over a great coupon code for you to use on your purchase. I will set it to last 365 days so you can use it at any point in the next year.

As you can see, we take it pretty personally when something like this happens and we will work hard to make sure we are never out of commission again!

Cheers, Troy
