COUPON CODE INSIDE! It’s true.

Hello again folks – we’re at it again. We are amidst a record-breaking month here at Mission Repair and our forecast calls for amazing repair numbers in April as well…

Thank you for reading - from the owner!

The iPad repair program is really taking off. We’re now servicing many schools around the country with our spectacular iPad repair program. We’re happy to help!

Our iPhone Repair service bring us to the top of the heap. We’ve won the “GOLD AWARD” on the independent TopTenReviews.com 4 years in a row as the BEST IPHONE REPAIR WEBSITE. The competition hates it. We love it.

Did you know that we repair laptops? We are screen gurus and there isn’t a Mac or PC laptop out there that we can’t fix. We are experts at replacing MacBook Unibody glass. Yeah, they are all just $99 installed.

iPod repair. Well this has been a staple at Mission Repair for years. Why not have that old unit repaired rather than let it sit in a junk drawer? I’ve been repairing iPods since 2001 when they first came out. Trust me, we know our iPods. You’ll find other websites claiming that they have been in business for a long time, or that they are the “biggest” repair center in the USA, or that they are the “Premier” service company in the country. When you’re shopping around, just give those companies a call and make sure that you can reach a live customer service person. This will tell you a lot. Try it with us TOLL FREE at 866-638-8402.

I completely understand that this all sounds great, but it still costs money to have your item repaired. Yes, I want you to remember us. I want you to become a fan for life. I want you to be a customer in the future. That’s why we’re here and we are in it for the LONG HAUL. I have a 15% off coupon for you that starts today and ends Tuesday 3/27/12 at Midnight. Why is there a special? It’s because you’re reading this blog.

Use coupon code “FRIENDS” and we’ll take 15% off that next repair with us. Remember that it expires Tuesday!

Thanks friends, Ryan

Camping trip was a success!

Hello all, I know you’ve been dying to find out. . .did I make it back from the wilderness this weekend? 😉

Yes, all went well, Lennie and I are back in the office after spending a couple of solitary days outside. Yes it got a little chilly during the evenings and admittedly I’m a little sore from all of the hiking that we did. We were on the shoreline of Truman Lake in Clinton, Missouri and were able to have the entire campgrounds to ourselves. I mean, who else would go camping in December?!?

It was an awesome experience, here’s a shot of our site after we got set up. The Deuce was our tent:

Here’s Lennie snacking on some pop corn:

I made it to the top of the rock pile. . .eventually!

Sitting by the fire with dinner:

By the end of the weekend, I wanted to stay out another day, but I knew that I needed to get into the office and get to work. This is a killer week for us and we’re doing everything we can to get ourselves caught up and shipments out before Thursday. The holiday week is upon us, Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones. I hope you get a chance to go outside and sit by a fire once in a while. . .it’s a great feeling.

I’ll be back shortly with more great Mission Repair information and deals!

Best, Ryan

The Lousiburg Cider Mill event this weekend was aMAZEing!

Hello all, just a quick morning blog to get the week started off right. This weekend several of the Mission Repair employees and our families visited the Louisburg Cider Mill for some real down home family midwest entertainment. My favorite part is the giant corn maze. Here’s a shot (from left to right) of Troy, myself and Lennie ready to head into the corn maze.

Smile Troy, the entire internet is going to see this!

This isn’t just an normal corn maze, it’s a serious competition between us 😉 At the end and about an hour later, we had a 3-way tie. At least that’s how I’m going to remember it!

We visit the Cider Mill every year for this event and I love the Autumn activities in the Kansas City area. If you love family style themes this area of the country can’t be beat. Truly, it’s one of the reasons that I opted to raise my kids in this area – I grew up in the Bay Area of California and I wanted something different for them!

So I’ve got a HUGE list of things to talk about today, and I’ll be back soon. I’ll give you a hint, we are launching 11″ and 13″ MacBook Air screen repairs – and we’re the first in the country offering this repair! This is for the newest Apple MacBook Air units, we’ll perform the work in a cleanroom environment and it’s a repair that so many customers have been asking for!

Additionally, we’ve really thickened our warranties to help our customers feel comfortable in using Mission Repair. Our GOT REPAIR benefits have solidified us as the best warranty in the repair business but we’ve got more. Our new repair policies are going to knock your socks off. We’re calling it FREPAIR. That’s right – a play on FREE REPAIR that will set us apart from the rest. Stay tuned!

Take care, Ryan

When will the iPhone 5 be released?

This is a great question! Everyone seems to have an opinion on the subject and in the last few weeks I read everything from “It’ll be here in October” to “it’s delayed until 2012”.

Is the iPhone 5 going to be what we expect it to be?

Well it looks like we’ll have to wait for Apple to make their announcement on October 4th. The new Apple, Inc. CEO Tim Cook will present the new device to us and hopefully will be able to give us a firm date on when the device will be available to the public.

I’m looking forward to the new energy that Mr. Cook brings!

Additionally, I’m predicting a “limited” launch on the iPhone 5. I do know that the Apple factories in China have been working overtime – not overtime in the sense that we use it here in the USA i.e. “I worked 3 hours of overtime today boss”. Overtime in China is more like “if you’ve got a heartbeat and know how to turn a screwdriver, we need you assembling iPhone 5’s for 90 hours a week”. The Foxconn factories are full steam ahead and they have redirected most if not all of their excess resources into producing the iPhone 5.

I believe that they are still a little behind. We may see a limited launch, or instant backorders, or slow unveilings between the carriers. What if Sprint got the iPhone 5 in October and AT&T got it in December? Yikes, let’s hope that doesn’t happen!

On a side note, Blackberry is really taking a hit this year and they are hoping for the iPhone 5 to NEVER release. Sorry RIM, it’s gonna happen. The iPhone 5 will take over, and you can count on Mission Repair to be there the first day when a customer has a cracked glass on the iPhone 5. We’ll do our part!

Take care, Ryan

Deal of the day and website upgrades. Let’s talk.

Hello there!

We just did a another major upgrade to our website and our servers. We have partnered with Akamai, the world’s leading CDN (short for Content Distribution Network) provider and we’re in good company – we now utilize the same technology as our friends at Apple, Inc!

What does this mean for us? We spread our website content across 72 countries, mirrored on over 95,000 servers. So when you visit MISSIONREPAIR.COM from your location, you’ll automatically receive our site content from the fastest server that’s closest to you which greatly boosts our site’s speed!

This is important as our site is deep, full of content and pictures, and becomes overwhelmed at times with traffic. In fact, we received double the anticipated traffic in the month of August which is something we monitor closely. We also monitor where the traffic comes from – the best part is that I can see the competition watching our site and it’s always fun to get a good chuckle at that the time they spend sniffing around! Heck, I can’t blame them 😉

The bottom line is this – we’re committed to improving our site, our speed, our availability and our website uptime. . .all of which are part of the customer experience that I’m happy to bring to you.

Additionally, we’ve added a new link on our homepage – it’s at the top just under “Full Service Repairs” that says “Deal of the Day!”

Click that link that that’s what you’ll get. The deal of the day. This deal will change often, if not every day, so keep it bookmarked and keep your eyes peeled. There’s no coupon needed and it’s always the best savings. Click here for todays “Deal of the Day” and we’ll talk again soon!

Take care, Ryan
