INSURANCE REQUIRED? IT’S NOW YOUR CHOICE!

Hello M:R Nation –

We have made many changes already in 2014 and today, we are happy to announce our newest change!

For years, we have made it a requirement to have shipping insurance on all shipments. Even if our customers didn’t want it. While this was done with the protection of your package in mind, not everyone needs or feels that this requirement is necessary. Since we are all about choice here at Mission Repair, we decided to listen to our customers and finally give you a choice!

You now have this option, right on the Mission Repair website! When you go to add your much needed iPad Mini or iPhone 4S repair to your cart, you will see multiple options, after you choose your inbound and outbound shipment choices, you will see a signature and shipping insurance options. You now have a “NO” and a “YES” choice.  By choosing “NO”, you agree to take responsibility for any damages that your box or device may receive in the transit of your shipment. By choosing “YES”, your shipment will be covered during “transit” which means once it leaves our facility and up to the point before Fedex leaves it on your doorstep. Also, if you are using a Mission Repair provided label to get your broken device to us, you are covered as well by choosing “YES”!

While we have very little issues with packages/devices not making it to their final destinations or damages occurring, you can never be too sure when shipping with any carrier. However, it’s your device and your budget. You should make this decision for yourself, not us.

So with that, please say hello to another change (for the better) here at Mission Repair in 2014!

Cheers, Troy

We Will Come To You!

Hello M:R Nation –

We try very hard to make your repair experience as seamless and stress free as possible. This is actually something that we work on consistently. We didn’t set up our procedures 8 years ago and leave them to sit stagnate. We work very hard to change with the times and answer to our customer comments and complaints. This is how our shipping kit was born!

The shipping kit is a big part of Mission Repair and it too has evolved over the years. Starting out as a huge, bulky cardboard boxes, we have worked hard to slim down all of our kits to not only cut down on weight, but to use less material for environmental reasons. Check out the laptop shipping kit and the changes we have made:

We were able to cut the material we used in half and maintain the same protection as our old, bulky shipper. This shipping kit fits the smallest smallest of netbooks to the largest of laptops and protects your computer for its long haul to Kansas City!

We are serious about both convenience and protection and this is exactly what our shipping kits offer! So If you have a smartphoneiPod,  tablet or laptop that is in need of attention, let us pick it up for you! You can choose this option when starting you repair order. Click the “inbound” drop-down button and select “send me a (ground/overnight) shipping kit”. From here, we will dispatch the materials to your doorstep, you package it up and call Fedex to stop back by to pick up your device for repair. It’s that simple!

If you have any further questions about our shipping kits, call Derrick in our shipping department (866-638-8402). He would be happy to answer questions you might have!

Cheers, Troy

Signature Required? It’s Now Your Choice!

Hello M:R Nation –

We have many changes coming in 2014 and one of those changes starts today! For years, we have made it a requirement to have you or someone at your location, sign for the repair or product that we shipped out to you. While this was done with the protection of your package in mind, not everyone needed or wanted this requirement.

Since we are all about choice here at Mission Repair, we decided to listen to our customers and finally give you this choice! Of course, it has always been a choice, but we would require you to call in and specifically require this change. We found that many customers didn’t really want the signature, but took it anyway to save time from calling us!

Signature is now an option!

We now have this option right on the Mission Repair website! When you go to add that iPad Mini or iPhone 4S to your cart, you will see multiple options, after you choose your inbound and outbound shipment choices, you will see the signature option. You now have a “NO” and a “YES” choice.  By choosing “NO”, you agree to take responsibility for any packages left on your doorstep.  Once the delivery driver leaves a package at your location, no “lost” or “damage” claims can be filed or paid. By choosing “YES”, your delivery will be sent with a signature requirement and must be signed for before delivery of your package can be fulfilled.

While we have very little issues with packages not making it to their final destinations, you can never be too sure when shipping with any carrier. You know your location, so you are the best person to make this choice, not us.

So with that, please say hello to the first of many changes (for the better) here at Mission Repair in 2014! We will continue to update you with all of the changes made and are happy to say that it is going to be a great year!

Cheers, Troy

Fedex is our carrier of choice- but watch out for that weather!

Hello friends-

This is just a friendly reminder that with all of this crazy winter weather we’re getting around the USA (already) has already caused delays with shipping and deliveries.

As of today, FedEx has posted on their website that they have resumed normal operations:

But please be aware that we have already experienced delays in shipping this month and with a new batch of cold and icy weather headed our way this weekend, shipping delays seem inevitable. We will continue to try our hardest to get your devices in and out as fast as humanly possible at Mission Repair– the rest is up to Mother Nature. I’ll do my best to keep her happy.

Take care, stay warm,

Ryan
