Now that’s what a cracked iPad looks like.

Good morning,

Every now and again I’ll snap a picture of a device that we receive for repair and share it here on the blog.  Some are normal “cracks” and bends; others are smashed up pretty good.  For some reason, my blog readers love looking at smashed units…so Carl at my Mission, Kansas store sent this picture to me last night:

Now that’s what a cracked iPad is supposed to look like, right?

I often wonder how these things happen…obviously this unit was dropped…but the exact story gets lost in the repair sometimes.  This unit appears to have been “dragged” along the concrete, like it fell off the roof of a car or slid down the driveway.  Most of the time, it doesn’t matter to us “how” it happened, but knowing sometimes satisfies the curiosity!

Have a cracked iPad Screen?  No problem.  We will take care of that repair for you, just drive on down to one of our locations (no appointment necessary) or give us a call and we’ll send FedEx to pick it up from your location anywhere in the USA.  Yes, even where you live, wherever that may be.

Hello there friends!

We are giving away a FREE BRAND NEW iPAD AIR this month to celebrate our 1 Millionth Blog visitor right here in the Mission Repair Blog!

You heard me correctly, there will be one lucky customer that receives a FREE iPAD AIR that we will obtain directly from Apple themselves (screenshot courtesy of Apple.com above!) for their enjoyment.

Here’s how it’s going to work:

1. This is our “Millionth Day Giveaway” prize, which consists of (1) One Apple iPad Air, 16gb, Wi-Fi, current model as per Apple’s availability, brand new sealed package, to be given out to one lucky customer.
2. We will all be watching right here in the blog. There is a “Unique Visitor” counter in the right hand column (check it out, see it there? —>). When this counter reaches 1 Million, the next order that is placed on MissionRepair.com (or places an order with one of our customer service representatives either over the phone or in person) will win!
3. There is no purchase necessary, the winner must place an order on MissionRepair.com to be eligible. Our free diagnosis options are eligible, so I’ll reiterate that no purchase is necessary!
4. Once we reach 1 Million unique visitors on the blog, the next new order placed and completed will be announced here on the blog! It may happen at 2am or 10am, it might be a Nationwide order or a walk in order at one of our locations; it doesn’t matter. The order that is placed with us MissionRepair.com immediately after we reach 1 Million unique visitors will win!
5. Orders can be placed directly on our website at MissionRepair.com, or they can be called in at 844-459-0105, or can be placed in person during normal business hours at one of our locations. There is no cash value of the prize through Mission Repair, and substitutions will not be permitted. We’re just going to give you an iPad Air…just in time for Christmas.

Watch the Blog Stats posted here to the right, “unique visitors” is the key. You’re wanting to be the person that places there order on MissionRepair.com the moment it happens! Just look to the right ———>

I hope it’s you, and it’s the beginning of the “Millionth Day” celebrations here at Mission Repair.

Take care, Ryan

iPad One to One – let’s share!

Hello again and Happy Monday!

Earlier I was writing about Apple’s 1 to 1 iPad program that is sweeping the Nation, but there’s a lot to think about when you’re son or daughter receives the device and heads home.

ipadlearn

We work with several schools performing iPad repairs for students (well, actually the parents!) that have accidents, and many of them don’t realize some of the caveats of their iPad agreements that come with the device. Most schools that disperse iPads to students include agreements and policies that bind you to some rules. It’s for a great reason; mainly to ensure that the school gets their device back each year…but again each school has different rules when it comes to damages and subsequently the repair that is needed.

When you find that your policy doesn’t cover breakages…give us a call at Mission Repair. We repair iPads for schools all across the country, but even more we repair iPads for parents that find themselves responsible for the repair. This can be for a cracked screen, broken charging port, liquid damage or other issue that happens in life.

Just remember Mission Repair, we have a customer service representative standing by just for you.

Take care, Ryan
