Mission:Possible.

Our Mission, which we have chosen to accept!

When we take a mail-in repair from one of our customers across the country, the process becomes simple and we will typically email the customer shipping instructions on how to get their device into us.

Many customers opt to use our pre-paid shipping labels that are filled out and very simple to use. Others like to ship devices into us on their own and some add their own creative touches.

In this case, out customer addressed us as “Mission Possible”. I love it!!

Now I’ve been called a lot of names over the years, but this is one of them that I like 😉

Mission:Possible at Mission:Repair. We are here for your electronics repair needs and have been since 2008. Yes, we take mail-in repairs from all over the country (and even Canada!) for customers that aren’t close to a Mission Repair Store. It’s been our specialty…and we are coming in our busy time of the year, so we are hoping for another blow-out end-of-the-year holiday season.

Thanks again for reading, I’ll be back right here in the blog much more today. I feel some writers creativity starting to flow!

Take care, Ryan

G-day mate. My boomerang skills are a little rusty.

G’day mate. You’d think that I was down under practicing my boomerang techniques with this beauty that we received at the Olathe Mission Repair location this week:

No, that’s not a boomerang. It’s an iPhone, just bent like a boomerang. There’s been a lot of talk about the iPhone 6 bending…but the urban legend that the previous iPhones DIDN’T bend is now confirmed to be FALSE. With enough pressure, they do bend! 😉

This customer was hoping for a good outcome. The fact is that we can repair this; but we are pretty much going to need to replace the entire phone to do so. I think power switch was still good…but everything else from the screen to the battery to the logic board are all toast and dead as fried chicken.

It was a good try…but even Mission Repair has limitations. If you’ve got a “normal” broken iPhone, we’re much better as repairing those than something like this…but it’s worth a shot…at least we can recycle it properly for the customer!

I’m going to go put a few shrimps on the barbie (that’s code for: “keep blogging Ryan”) and head back to work.

Take care, Ryan

The November Newsletter is off!

It’s everyone’s favorite shopping holiday, and the sales and specials are already starting. While Black Friday is fun, we really enjoy Cyber Monday (the Monday after the Thanksgiving weekend) because it’s especially crazy around the Mission Repair call center. It’s our biggest sale of the year!

If you’re close to a Mission Repair location, we will be opening at 6:00am on Black Friday; we have some exciting specials happening for all of our walk-in customers that day. Last year we had a line of people stacking up at 6:00am, so we know how important the day after Thanksgiving is for you! We will be here in full force, stay tuned for details!

For those of you that aren’t in our vicinity and are somewhere else in the USA, our Cyber Monday deals will be especially enticing to you. There’s a lot more coming, I’m really glad you’re on our newsletter list. Hint: We are giving away a computer this month!

Until then, check out this month’s super special on iPhone 5 screen repairs. We have broken the $99 barrier and there’s no coupon needed for this service. Just click below to get started, and keep your eyes out for our next newsletter that will be hitting your inbox shortly.

Thanks, have a great November. I’ll be back soon today with more great info!!
