Is your Kindle not charging? You are not alone! That is one of the main reasons we get Kindles in for repair – they simply won’t charge. This is a well known issue at Mission Repair and our certified technicians will fix this issue and fast.
Many times these charging ports become defective due to the poor design of them. They seem to be very sensitive to every day use. Ever use your Kindle Fire while it is plugged in? Each time your device is plugged into the charger and moved around – you increase your chance of damaging the charging port. Ever put the charger in upside down? This can also damage the port overtime.
Have no fear, Mission Repair offers Charging Port Repair services on many models of the Kindle Fire. We don’t offer a DIY part for this specific repair and it’s because it is not a simple repair. The charging port is soldered onto the main board inside the kindle and takes some pretty specialized tools to complete the repair. For this repair, I definitely say “let the pros handle it”, and call us at 866-638-8402 or click here for a full list of our Kindle Repair services.

Happy Friday! We have been busy adding a bunch of new repairs as well as dropping prices on repairs we have been offering for quite some time. Yes, this includes iPods, iPads, iPhones and Samsung Galaxy devices so if you need a repair – now is the time!
One of the new repairs we are offering is the Glass and LCD repair service for the Microsoft Surface 2. This is a popular android tablet because it is thin, light, has a 10 hour battery life, USB port and more. However, because it is sleek, thin and light, it is also really easy to drop, resulting in a cracked screen.
Once your order is placed at either of our walk-in locations or on our website, we will pre-test your device and note our findings. (If your device requires additional repairs we will contact you for approval before continuing).
Next, it will be placed on the technician line for repair (Next-Day turnaround time).
When one of our certified technicians receive your device, they will remove the defective part or cracked glass and replace it with a brand new one.
After being repaired, your device then goes to the QA (Quality Assurance) department. There, it is post-tested to make sure everything is working correctly. (In the event that the device fails QA, it will go back to a technician and repeat steps 3 and 4).
Lastly, once your unit goes through our final testing process we notify you in one of two ways:
Walk-In customers are contacted by phone or email to let them know their device is ready for pick up.
Nationwide Mail-In customers’ devices are shipped and a confirmation email and FedEx tracking information is sent.
You receive your device good as new!
We understand mailing in your device or dropping it off at one of our locations for repair may be a little nerve-wracking. At Mission Repair we make sure to not only take care of your device while it is at our facility, but get it back to you good as new. Any questions about our services? Give us a call at 1-866-638-8402, live chat us on our website or email firstname.lastname@example.org!

It is finally here! The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0″ repair services are now a reality! As you can see by all of the exclamation points, we are excited! We have spent many months searching for the CORRECT parts to service the 7″ Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and it has finally happened.
Released in April of 2012, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0″ has quickly become a favorite tablet for millions of people. The 7″ tablet has been so successful for Samsung, that Apple had to respond with the iPad Mini. You know you are doing something right when Apple has to find a way to compete with you ;-).
We are so very happy to announce that we are now servicing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1! We have been chasing these parts down for quite some time and we have finally cornered ’em!
The Tab 2 10.1 is not much different than its older brother the Tab 10.1. Both have 1GHz dual-core processors, 1GB of RAM, and 10.1 screens. However, the parts on the inside are completely different. You will not be able to use a Tab 10.1 glass screen in a Tab 2 10.1. Believe me, we have confirmed that ;-).
We have received request after request for this service and are happy to finally come through for our loyal customers! You can get your repair started by clicking the following link: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1″ Glass Repair Service or calling us at 866-638-8402.
We are having some interesting weather in Kansas City during the month of January. We finally had our first snow of the winter, the have experienced well below zero temperatures (which is not at all uncommon) and today, it is sunny with the high of 69-72 degrees.
Now, I have lived in this area for most of my life and this has got me scratching my head. Kansas and Missouri are known for their extreme temperatures in either direction, but this is just crazy. I guess we will enjoy it while we can… I hear there is also snow in the forecast for this week!
I could get used to this!
We are going to have a pretty eventful week here at Mission Repair. With some new service additions and programs that we have taken on, It is going to be Superbowl Sunday before we know it. Time truly flies when you are up to your eye balls in projects to work on. Don’t worry, we won’t let these deter us from coming back here on a daily basis to talk to our favorite people, The M:R Nation!
