Where can I get my Samsung Galaxy S IV Screen repaired?

Hi friends, are you asking this question?

It’s no secret. The Samsung Galaxy S4 screens can be repaired and we are performing these services daily at Mission Repair.

How is it possible?

Well sometimes it’s like a magic show over here in our tech lab and to be honest, I don’t even know how to do this repair…I’m kind of dated when it comes to the newest products. That’s why I have Jake! And Matt. And Albert. And David. And Justin. And Matthew. And Pat. Well you get the picture…without naming every one of our technicians (sorry to those that didn’t get a mention!) we have an extensive staff of full-time technicians that actually know (better than I) how to get your Samsung Galaxy S IV back into tip-top shape. Presto-chango it’ll be back to looking new again!

Samsung Galaxy SIII Screens in stock!

Hello folks, it’s been a while – but we have a huge inventory of Samsung Galaxy SIII Screens in stock with more units on the way tomorrow. We’ve made a huge investment in new screen assemblies – these are OEM assemblies that have been properly sealed in a clean room manufacturing process. I say “assembly” because our parts come with a new glass panel, digitizer, LCD, sub frame, bezel, home button and all the proper cabling.

There are multiple vendors selling glass panels ALONE on eBay and Amazon…and I want to warn you that these $20 parts may seem enticing but I’m here to tell you that without the proper equipment (including an autoclave that will heat, vacuum and seal the new glass panel onto the digitizer with the proper special optical adhesive) it is IMPOSSIBLE to get an OEM factory repair with these cheap, imitation $20 parts.

We can appreciate DIY technicians. Just be sure you know what you're getting into before you buy this part from China!

If you don’t care about what your phone looks like after it’s repaired, then maybe this is the way you prefer to “repair” your SG3. Additionally, it can take 2 hours to perform this method of a repair. Yikes. Time is money! An ugly phone or mis-repaired phone is worth even less.

However most of Mission Repair’s customers DO care about how their phone looks. And works. And lasts.

That’s why we only use OEM assemblies that have been properly sealed and assembled from the factory. We can then simply install a new assembly while you wait and ensure a high quality repair that’s performed by the professionals in the industry. Mission Repair, the Intelligent Choice.

Do you have any questions about this repair? Email me directly. I’ll be happy to answer them in the order in which received.

Hey all, we’re still in a rainy mess here at Mission Repair but I think we might be pulling out of it. April showers bring May flowers!

Samsung Galaxy Super Bowl Commercial!

Hello M:R Nation –

There were some pretty awesome Super Bowl commercials last night, but one stuck out more than the others for me. I would call it my second favorite commercial of the night. It was the ad that Samsung ran that kind of encompassed their Galaxy S line. They never mentioned any phone in particular, but you can see a Samsung Note II , Samsung Galaxy S III and a Samsung Tab 10.1 .

You can see Kansas City native Paul Rudd and the always funny Seth Rogen taking jabs at each other and pitching a Samsung executive some marketing material. I found this to be a great commercial based upon their dialog alone. Throw in some Samsung Galaxy products and you have me hooked.

I was hoping Apple would appear in this years line of commercials, but it seems they decided to spend their $4,000,000 elsewhere!

Cheers, Troy

Apple’s been dethroned.

I just came across this piece of news on CNN’s website. The title is:

Samsung Galaxy S III dethrones iPhone as world’s top seller

What?!? The mighty Apple iPhone is SECOND to the amazing Samsung Galaxy SIII? I thought that this might happen. From the article “For the first time, Samsung’s Galaxy S III overtook Apple’s iPhone 4S to become the world’s best-selling smartphone model for the third quarter (July through September) of 2012, according to new research by Strategy Analytics. The Galaxy S III shipped 18 million units worldwide, compared with 16.2 million for the iPhone 4S. That’s 11% of all smartphones shipped on the planet.”

You can read the article in it’s original format here.

All I have to say is…wow. Apple seemed unstoppable. The iPhone is amazing. However I’ve seen and used the Samsung Galaxy SIII in person and it has some benefits. The larger screen, for one, is simply better. How does this news fare for an Apple iPhone Repair center such as Mission Repair? I had better get repairing Samsung Phones huh?

Well, we’ve known about the Samsung movement for some time and it’s foolish for a repair center to focus solely on a single product line in my opinion. . .it just rules out the possibilities of growth, expanding, and bringing more value to the market. While Mission Repair is a front runner amongst a ton of competition for iPhone Repair – we are standing alone as the top tier Samsung Galaxy Smartphone repair center.

We have the experience, the vendors in place, and the parts in stock to perform Galaxy SIII screen replacements quickly and efficiently. The best part is that we are THE ONLY SERVICE CENTER that has COMPLETE Samsung Galaxy Screen assemblies IN STOCK that are prebuilt from the factory for a seamless installation. Everyone else in this market is scraping glass, buying cheap glass panels and trying to perform these repairs with limited experience. Trust me, we have this repair down to a science, and we are installing brand new, OEM factory Samsung Glass assemblies. If you’re considering this service with another repair center, be sure to ask them if they are doing the same so you don’t get an inferior repair!!

Mission Repair. We’re on the Samsung bandwagon and have been since 2008 – from a galaxy far, far away. Ok, that was bad čśë

Samsung Infuse: Still On High Demand!

Hello M:R Nation –

We have grown to love many of Smartphones over the past 2 years and the Samsung Infuse is at the top of our “Love List”. It has been with us through the good times and the bad. It has never failed or faltered as one of our top repairs and we see no change in the coming years.

Released in May 15th, 2011, the Infuse is getting close to 2 years old (which translates to about 100 years in smartphone years) is still receiving the newest software updates and is still holding strong compared to those young bucks like the Samsung Galaxy S II and  Samsung Galaxy S III.

I envy the folks that can keep a singular phone for more than a years time. That means I envy ALL of our customers and most people in the world. I have an iPhone problem and I am not afraid to admit it čÖé

Let us keep your smartphone running for years to come. There is no need to buy a new phone just because you have a little crack in yours, send it on over to Missionrepair.com and let us fix it up for ya! Just ask the MANY Samsung Infuse owners that have used our services, they’ll tell you whats up čÖé

Cheers, Troy

No Shave November!

Hello M:R Nation –

I have a few blokes here at Mission Repair that were talking about participating in “No Shave November”. The main reason for this is to raise awareness for men’s health, but there have been many tales of its origins. I myself, think its simply an excuse to be lazy and I embrace that!

I have a total of 8 gents that I will be chronicling for the next 4 weeks. I will take a picture of their progress once a week and post it right here on our wonderful blog!

Say Hi to Jake, David, nick, Ryan, Albert, Phil, Justin and Lennie!

So here they are, the 8 brave/lazy souls participating in this storied tradition(I’ll spare you and them of a large sized picture )! As you can see, some of them already have a head start. This should make for some epic beardness for sure! While I sport quite the fancy beard myself, I am not 100% sure that I will let it grow rugged yet. I will keep you updated on that decision.

We like to turn things into a competition around here and this is going to be no different. While I have no idea on how I will decide the winner yet, I do know the prize. I find it a much needed prize to be handed out in this situation. It is a years subscription to the Dollar Shave Club paid for by Mission Repair! I love this company and am a proud member so I can vouch for the prize!

I would like to make this something our readers can benefit from as well, I will also provide a years subscription to the most Epic beard or other hair growth (I know it sounds nasty, but we are about equality here at MR, so men and woman are welcome to join but keep it PG) to one of our brave/lazy readers :-)!

To join the competition, you will need to send in 4 different pictures to troy@missionrepair.com titled NSN Entry and here is what I will need from you:

1) Starting Point Picture

2) Week 2 growth

3) Week 3 growth

4) Final Week growth

By joining the competition, you agree to have your picture posted here on the MR Blog if you are named the winner. Happy November to everyone and good luck on those beards!

please note: This competition in no way, shape or form will interfere with our awesome iPhone, iPod, iPad, Smartphone, tablet, Mac or PC repair services !

Cheers, Troy
