Black Friday in July!

Hello again friends,

I’ve heard a little rumor going around about a lot of retailers are talking about Black Friday in July- and it’s coming up this Friday the 25th!

What is Black Friday?

The day After Thanksgiving (Friday) is known as Black Friday. This also typically starts the holiday shopping season. Almost all stores come out with blockbuster sales and specials and early bird specials to attract consumers to their stores. People can stand in line hours before store is opened just to grab the bargain of the year. Almost every store has something that interests every one. For bargain hunters black Friday might be their biggest festival of the year.

So why is there a Black Friday in July? I think it was developed by retailers to give the bargain minded consumer another chance to get a great deal half-way through the year instead of waiting for the turkey to wear off. So we’re joining in!

Scenario:

A typical day at Mission Repair starts at 8:00 am, the call center starts to light up with activity. “Ring”. We take a customer service phone call from a distressed customer looking for a solution to their problem: a broken smart phone. “Do you fix devices other than iPhones?”

“Why yes we do!”

In fact, Mission Repair has one of the longest line cards in the industry. We are constantly looking for new devices, sourcing parts and adding services to our website each day. Nokia Lumia 1020 Announced!

Hello M:R Nation –

Today, Nokia announced the new and incredible Lumia 1020. The marquee feature on the newest device by Nokia is not the stunning screen, but the 41 MEGAPIXEL CAMREA! I freelance an occasional wedding every now and then and understand DSLRs enough to know that MP size isn’t everything. There is only so much a human eye can see and brain can process. So when I hear that there is 41-MP in the new Lumia 1020, I am most impressed by the technology. We are to a point that we can fit all of that within a sensor that is smaller than a square inch. Mind blowing!

Anyway, I’ll use this as an excuse to plug some of the Nokia Lumia services that we already offer, and of course, we WILL be repairing the Nokia 1020 once it comes out on the market. Check out our current line up of Nokia Lumia repairs below :
