Mission Repair in Lenexa – sign mockup.

Hello there electronics lovers-

You may have seen my post yesterday about our newest location that we are opening to attract more customers from the Lenexa, Overland Park and surrounding Shawnee areas in Kansas.

So Melanie is mocking up our new sign, and we are going to be installing something to this effect:

Monument1

Yes, this is just a Photoshop mockup, but we’re going to occupy the entire lower monument sign on this totem. Of course, Kopps decorating center has been in this parking lot for about 80 years 😉 Our new space is perfect for the location, and completely accessible from either 95th street or 87th street right off the highway depending on which direction you arrive from.

I’ll be over at the new location for the rest of the day…and if my Internet is up I’ll blog from the open space and share some pictures!

Have yourself a great morning.

Ryan

iPhone cement magnet.

I was in the front lobby today talking with one of our customers and she said “I think my iPhone is a cement magnet“. This was her 3rd trip into Mission Repair on the same phone to have the screen repaired.

Please remember that these phones have GLASS screens, and I know that this customer is fully aware of the problems of dropping her iPhone…but other customers don’t really think about it until it’s too late.

We all make mistakes; but this customer keeps coming back to Mission Repair because of our exclusive “Got Repair” benefits that come with each and every repair. This means that if you have your iPhone fixed with us, and if you ever drop and break it again, you’ll never pay full price again. We are the only repair business in the industry to offer this, not even Apple themselves will touch this benefit program.

Some customers ask “what’s the catch?” There is none. It’s just something that we do at Mission Repair that continually sets us apart from the rest of the market. Want to learn more about our “Got Repair” program for screens? Click here!

And try not to drop your phone if you can help it 😉

Take care, Ryan

Heat Wave…and a Coupon Inside!

Hello there summer friends,

It’s been an interesting start to the year as the weather in Kansas City has been strangely rainy. It seems like every weekend that I have a chance to take the boat out, it’s been raining.

That’s all changed and this week there’s an official “heat wave” coming through the Midwest and a “heat advisory” that extends until 9:00pm tonight here in Kansas City. When I walk outside from an air-conditioned building it takes about 30 seconds for my sweat glands to kick it into overdrive.

Yesterday it was 96 degrees F, but it felt like 105 degrees according to the heat index. Since it’s so humid in this area, the actual temperature never seems to be relevant. The “feels like” temperature is what I always hone into when watching the news! Today is nearly the same.

So if you brave it out to head into one of our locations we’ll reward you for doing so! Heck, today is a perfect day to visit our Colorado Mission Repair, it’s only 92.5 degrees F – but get this – because it’s so dry in Lakewood, Colorado the “feels like” temperature is actually only 91 degrees. Yeah, that’s awesome “mountain air” for ya!

Again, if you head into one of our shops today, we’re offering a $10 off discount on any repair that’s over $50 now through the end of the week, Friday 7/17/15 at midnight. Just enter coupon code “HOT” when checking out online, or print and bring a copy of this blog to your sales representative for your discount. Please, no discounts without a print out, and this coupon cannot be combined with any other coupon or discount, including “Got Repair” benefit prices.

You don’t have to rush in. It’s too hot for that. Just slowly make your way into a Mission Repair location or place your order online and we’ll be happy to extend that $10 off coupon on your next iPhone, iPod, Mac or other Smartphone repair until this Friday.

Thanks and have a great day, Ryan

Galaxy S6 Screen Repairs = Success!

Hello there again this fine Friday morning!

I just wanted to remind you that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Screen Repair service is in full effect and we are taking in and fixing cracked screens on these units daily.

Samsung has a lot riding on its 2015 flagship, and this time it’s put its best foot forward. With its super-fast, homebrew processor, a pair of great cameras and a surprisingly clean version of TouchWiz, the S6 is the finest Galaxy Samsung has ever made. Now, if only it were waterproof 😉

Have a great day, Ryan

Mission Repair is closed on Saturday, July 4th!

Hi there friends,

We’ve already had a few calls about this; so I want to remind each of you that we will be CLOSED JULY 4th, 2015! Normal business hours will remain in effect Friday July 3rd and after the 4th. Since we are open on the 3rd, I want to make everyone aware that FedEx is on a modified shipping schedule and we’ve been “warned” about their changes. They are picking up early on Friday, so we will do everything that we can to get repairs done and completed and shipped back out to our customers.

Independence Day means fireworks and BBQ’s for the Arter Family…I hope you spend some quality time with your own family as well.

The last thing I want to say is…”Happy Birthday America!”
