iPhone 6S Repairs-

Hello there iPhone fans-

It’s only be a few short weeks since the iPhone 6S has been released and we’ve unfortunately already had several calls from customers asking to have their screen repaired…in fact, this customer came in Monday to show us his cracked iPhone 6S screen, you can see the crack down by the home button:

It’s unfortunate because we’re not quite ready to perform the repairs on these devices yet (they are “coming soon” on our website!), the parts are just still a couple weeks for repair centers like Mission Repair to obtain. Otherwise we are good to go.

So check back if you need that iPhone 6S or 6S Plus repaired some time in November; that’s my best guess but it could be sooner. I’ll let you know the day they are available, thanks!

One Million Blog Reads – it’s just around the corner!

Good morning, thanks for checking out the blog today!

Actually the number ONE MILLION is becoming part of a HUGE Mission Repair Celebration that’s soon to come. When we reach ONE MILLION unique Blog Readers (just like you); we are all going to party. As of today:

We are finalaizing preparations now for the biggest discounts that you’ve ever seen, and we will have lots of fun at each of our locations on this momentus day. I have so many stats, so much data, and have had so much fun being a professional blogger that it’s really exciting to know that soon my blog will reach the 1 Million mark and I’m just going to share my excitement and thanks to everyone.

I’ve been asked many times “do you ever get writers block?” Heck yeah I do. Also, “how did you start your blog?”

That second question is simple. Create a blog on a free blog site, name it, and start typing. In fact, I follow several blogs including past Mission Repair customers, vendors, and others that I just admire. If you’ve got a blog that you author or if I can help you get started on your own blog, let me know and I’ll be happy to be a part of your blog circle. Just reply to post in the comments section and I’m there!

So the big day is coming…the “Mission Repair Million Celebration”…we get about 10,000 new readers each month, so at this pace sometime in October we should be there as I calculated earlier in the year. It will happen when it happens, but rest assured that I’ll be right here to share in the big day.

Thanks for reading, Ryan

Our new Lenexa, Kansas location is fully operational! Except for the air conditioning that is.

Good morning!

All of the usual bugs and glitches hit us yesterday on our first day in our new building and we took it in stride…until the air conditioning in the building went out.

The best part is that we’re in the middle of a heat wave here in the Kansas City area this week; so it’s making for a heck of an uncomfortable work day. Today is starting off a little worse, because it’s already 78 degrees in here. Oh well, it can’t all be perfect, right?

We did have an impressive amount of customers that came in yesterday stating that they waited for this location to open, so it was a huge success. (Thanks to Carol and Jason that I was able to personally spend a little time with yesterday afternoon!) We stayed late and took care of as many customers as we could, and we’re back in here early to do the same today! It’s what we do.

I’m hopeful that the air conditioning will be back to normal in the early afternoon so if you’d like to wait a bit to come in, I wouldn’t blame you 😉

Thanks again to all of our customers that helped us make our first day at Mission Repair in Lenexa Kansas a huge success. We appreciate it!

I’ll be back soon, Ryan

Give this old dog a bone.

Hello and happy Friday!

I was watching the dogs the other day and decided that they needed a treat. I wish I had someone that just handed me treats when I begged for them 😉

This is Shadow snacking down on a meaty treat in the bedroom (which is not a great idea by the way – it’s a mess!) and apparently he doesn’t have a care in the world.

It’s the opposite for me right now at Mission Repair. We are moving out of our Olathe location, and soon my business will be in a brand new fully retail location as of 9/1/15. This is a new way of business for us, and in fact we are restructuring the business, the model and we’re moving to a 100% retail operation. We’ve found that the “old” Mission Repair is not as attractive to our customers as it used to be 8 years ago – times just change and so do we; so the “new” Mission Repair will be unveiled in just about a week and a half.

Of course we will be offering all of the usual services for your trusty devices on a walk-in basis but there are rumors that we will also begin offering cell phone service and new phone sales and with NO CONTRACT! That’s all that I want to say about that for now, but some exciting new programs are coming soon.

Take care, Ryan
