Waterfalls in Kansas? Tell your friends about it!

Hi there!  As you may or may not know, Mission Repair has locations in Kansas, and we’re not just the “flatland” that you picture when you relate the the state.  The fact is that most of Kansas is FLAT and boring to drive through if you’re traveling across country on Highway 70, but there is a cool website that talks about some of the features and attractions in each state.  Here in Kansas, they are promoting a “Water Fall Tour” and have it mapped on their website!

I know for a fact that my California friends think that I live in a wheat and sunflower wasteland here in Kansas…but we Kansans have a few hidden gems up our sleeves.  I was intrigued, and I think that I’ll take the trip via motorcycle here soon.  I thought I’d share!

Have a good morning, Ryan

Wake up and smell the coffee!

I’m up. I get it, it’s a little early (about 5am!) and I could be asleep. I don’t need to be into the office until 10am today, but sometimes I get my best work done in the middle of the night. It’s a curse and a blessing at the same time.

I can really attribute my excellent mood to my iced coffee and bacon today. The house smells amazing!

So for those of you that aren’t morning people (Dandra, you know who you are!) I’m here to motivate you to get up, get ready, and take on the world today. It’s going to be a great December 30th.  Check out the wikihow page on “how to wake someone up“.  #1 is to brew a cup of coffee!

For some of you, you already have tomorrow off. For even more of you, you also have Friday off. This could mean a lot of long weekends for millions of Americans so make today a good one.

So when I say “Wake up and smell the coffee”, I’m not intending to mean “Hey, try to pay attention to what’s going on”…I’m really saying, “Wake up and smell the coffee.” It smells great!

Have a wonderful day, I’m working on some end of the year tidbits for Mission Repair, it’s tradition. I’ll see you back here soon.

Ryan

Mission Repair – Better Business Bureau Report

Hello friends, it’s a fine afternoon here at Mission Repair, and I’ve been going over several items on my daily “checkup list” and wanted to share our Better Business Bureau rating:

It’s not easy to receive and keep an “A+ Rating”, especially when a business has thousands of customers a month. There are several companies that I see also touting A+ ratings; but it’s easier when you have a third of the business; the issue with this rating system is that the Better Business Bureau doesn’t really judge by the percentage of issues a company has with their customers. They base it off of the number of issues you have.

For example, for a business like ours to have 9 closed reports in the last 12 months out of somewhere near 30,000 customers (.0003%) -we’re “docked” the same as a business that closed 9 reports in the same time period but only having 3,000 customers (.003%). In all honesty both of these examples are LOW percentages, but we have no way to keep an A+ rating other than being the best that we can be.

It might be a bit difficult to understand, but the bottom line is that we have the highest rating possible issued by the Better Business Bureau.

You’re darn right I’m proud of it. It’s shows how great our employees are, how amazing our services are and that we must be doing something right.

Thanks to all of our customers for their business, I truly appreciate it!

Take care, Ryan
