Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery – again.

Hello again friends-

It happens all the time. While maneuvering through the Internet, I seemingly never stop finding the competition stealing the text off of my website, changing the names from “Mission Repair” to “Their Company” and then pasting the “unique” text onto their website and calling it their own. Take a look at our Got Repair warranty page for example, I personally wrote this and if you see it on ANY other website, I’d be skeptical:

Let’s get to the bottom of this exclusive program at Mission Repair.  The number one service we perform is fixing cracked screens for many different products.  Even worse, we’ve seen many repeat customers for the same repair.  Mission Repair wants to stand out among the competition by offering benefits with our repairs that other businesses don’t.

Allow us to elaborate:

  • Think of it as “The Real Lifetime Warranty”.  Check the competition.  When they offer lifetime warranties, this doesn’t include breakage again on the part you had repaired.  What good is a lifetime warranty on a piece of glass that only fails when it breaks?  Our “Got Repair” program covers re-repairing damaged glass and screens.
  • Think of it as a “Thank You” for coming back to Mission Repair.  If you have your device repaired with us, you already know that it can be broken.  And if you should somehow accidentally or intentionally damage it again, we want you to come back to Mission Repair.  We would make more money by charging you full price but you may decide not to repair your device more than once.  Our “Got Repair” program benefits encourage repeat business with a special thank you to every Mission Repair customer.
  • Think of it as the “New Standard” in which services should be performed.  Mission Repair pioneers many programs and we set the standard for the market.
  • Think of it as the opposite of “Insurance”.  Insurance is just that.  You buy insurance “in case” something happens to your unit.  If nothing happens, you still pay.  Additionally, most insurance plans require a deductible and stringent rules to filing a claim.  Our “Got Repair” benefits cost you nothing up front.  Rather, we charge a small service fee for any repeat repair.  You can have the unit re-repaired once or 1000 times, this service fee will remain the same.

Let’s see how it works in real life:

  • Order a service that includes the “Got Repair” Benefits. Our iPhone 3GS Glass Repair Service is an excellent EXAMPLE and the product picture looks like this on our website:

  • We’ll then perform our Award Winning Service like usual and get the repaired unit back in your hands.  We are in the business of Nationwide 24 Hour Service.
(DRUMROLL, PLEASE)
  • Then at ANY TIME in the future, if you break this same iPhone 3GS Glass again we’ll repair it for a $20 “Got Repair” Service Fee.  Remember, you can have the same unit re-repaired as many times as you’d like, there is NO LIMIT. NOTE – THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE IPHONE 3GS GOT REPAIR SERVICE FEE. DIFFERENT FEES APPLY TO DIFFERENT REPAIRS.

Mission Repair, The Intelligent Choice.

Want to know how much your “Got Repair” will be?  Just find your service on our site and add to cart!  Need to use your benefit?  Just call 866-638-8402 and tell the representative “Got Repair!”

I’ve said it before, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery (even when others mock me about it) and I stand by it.  It does feel good that other businesses want to participate in the freedom of starting and working for one’s self.  However stealing my copyrighted material doesn’t sit well with me.  For your information, our “Got Repair” warranty is the best in the business, it was created here at Mission Repair by myself, and continues to be the shining point of Mission Repair which keeps us on the edge and in the forefront of the industry.  We are here for you, our customers, and we’re not imposters.  I encourage you when you’re shopping around to verify who you’re working with. At Mission Repair you’ll get me, my management staff, and all 30+ of my employees on your side. Have a great day, thanks for reading.

Best, Ryan

We’re breaking records this month!

Hello friends-

We’re really spooling up at the office and ramping our staff and operations department for the busy holiday season. In fact, we’ve already smashed November 2012’s records with astounding orders the first week of November 2013!

MRrecord

Why is this important you you? While it sounds like a fantastic thing for any business owner it’s really a win-win for all of our customers as well. When a business is healthy it can offer better pricing, specials, discounts and deals. It’s a matter of efficiency, commitment and confidence.

Last month, we offered an entire line of specials and giveaways for the Halloween week. I did a video blog each day with new news – and thousands of customers participated in the week-long event. It was to launch the 2013 Holiday season off on the right foot and it has worked!

So what now? Well you can expect several new changes on the Mission Repair website (if you’ve seen it lately, we’ve upgraded some of the look and technology) and are offering more services and repairs than ever before. As we continue to expand, Mission Repair will continue to grow and add value to you!

It’s amazing to me that we are already past the first week of November with the holiday season already surrounding us. I hope you have a good one.

Remember Mission Repair can fix that broken iPhone, iPad or Computer which makes a great holiday gift. We’ve had plenty of requests for gift cards – so we should have those in place and available for purchase by Black Friday. Heck, if you know me at all – I’ll be giving away a few of those too!

Until then, keep you eye on this blog for some spectacular news that can only be heard here. Take care.

Ryan

There’s a “football” feeling in the air…and on the air!

Hi everyone, it’s been a record breaking month at Mission Repair and I’ve still got a lot of work to do today; and I’m even leaving at 4:30 to see a Pro Football Preseason Game this afternoon so I’ll make this quick!

There’s a lot of talk about Football right now- everyone is drafting their fantasy teams, the major NFL cuts are happening soon and season ticket holders are polishing their tailgating equipment – all just in time for the first “real” games the first week of September!

What does this time of year bring for Mission Repair? Well we’ve got an extensive advertising campaign running on our local football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, pregame show. We’re going to be on the radio and on the television advertising to millions of viewers weekly very soon. Here’s a shot of me “trying” to read my next radio ad:

It can be tough to belt out the entire script in one take- so they guys at 102.5 FM just work their magic until I sound great. Trust me, these weren’t recorded in one take- I was in this booth for an hour yesterday just trying to get it right. It didn’t help that I had Troy, my General Manager right next to me snickering each time I said “Ryan Arter here, owner at Mission Repair, and when the KC Chiefs score, you score!” He just got a kick out of that.

I’m just talking about the some of the “behind the scenes” activity that goes around here at Mission Repair. No one told me that owning a business would be so much work…but days like this make it really rewarding in any case.

So speaking of “When Kansas City scores, you score”, I’m promoting an offer on the radio each week that provides deep discounts when the Chiefs score. The more they score, the more my customers will save. So for those of you that are outside of the Kansas City and outside of the Kansas City Radio Network, I’ll post the same offer here on the blog for you to enjoy when it runs…which is not today! You’ll have to wait until the official NFL season start, and I hope to see you at one of the games!

For those of you that know me, you know that I’m a Chiefs fan but there’s another team closer to my heart. Care to take a guess?

Have a great day, Ryan

Training Camp Saturday!

Hello M:R Nation –

Mission Repair partners with many different people and organizations throughout the year, and one of our favorites is the Kansas City Chiefs.  On Saturday, we were invited to their training camp and received a VIP treatment! Here are a few pictures from the event!

It was a beautiful day and we throughly enjoyed watching what is sure to be a playoff contender, practice for a few hours! We enjoyed some great food, drinks and most of all company as you can see in the above pictures. Do you see Matt there challenging Dexter McCluster to an iPhone repair competition? Well, Dexter came back with a foot race challenge and that pretty much shut Matt down :-).

We have many cool Chiefs events planned and can’t wait for this coming season! So watch out and listen for Mission Repair at a Chiefs game near you!

Cheers, Troy

The company picnic was a great time. We have some leftover pulled pork if you’re interested ;-)

Hello everyone, it’s been a heck of a Monday here at Mission Repair.

We had our company picnic this weekend and it was a blast. Most of our employees showed up for a fantastic catered BBQ dinner and coolers full of liquid refreshments. In addition, we held 7 events to keep the energy up. A fun one to watch was the “Tug O’ War” competition. We elected 2 team captains who then picked their teams from the willing employees and away they went. Yes that’s me with the whistle refereeing the “Tug”:

One of the other events was an individual hula hoop competition. Here’s Jake with a sampling of his skills. Yes, he’s going to come and ask me to remove this video from the Internet, but I’m not going to 😉

Overall it was an amazing day and we had a huge turnout of almost 50 people. The weather was perfect and it’s always a great time when you can get out of the office and get to know your fellow co-workers on a personal level. I know that I have personally grown from this experience; and maybe I learned just a little too much 😉

OK back to business, it’s 5:26pm and I still have a few hours of work left to accomplish. It’s crunch time and I have to get to work. Even though when I look at these video it feels like I’m back at the lake!

Take care, Ryan
