6 more likes- that’s what I’m looking for today! Actually I’d really like to send you a $15 gift certificate too.

Hello again friends- just 6 more likes and we will reach the 13,000 likes milestone on our Mission Repair Facebook page. I have a good feel that this will happen today.

If you’re not a fan on Facebook, now’s your chance- click this banner below:

And “like us” on Facebook. Why? Because it’s the cool thing to do! I mean, you’ve checked your Facebook page in the last 30 minutes haven’t you? If not, here’s a chance to click through, check out our Mission Repair fan page, and then I dare you to post this on your personal Facebook page:

“Ryan at Mission Repair asked me to post this as my status”.

If you do, tag Mission Repair on that status and I’ll mail you a $15 gift certificate toward your next repair with us. Yes, I will need your mailing address- we will handle that over email. Once your post is complete, just email us (newsletter@missionrepair.com) confirming your post is complete, we will verify the post and mail out your gift certificate immediately. No purchase necessary, but I will send you a gift certificate that you can use online or if you visit one of our locations. Sound good?!?

OK, let’s see if I can squeeze out those 6 likes before the end of the day.

Take care, Ryan

Fedex is our carrier of choice- but watch out for that weather!

Hello friends-

This is just a friendly reminder that with all of this crazy winter weather we’re getting around the USA (already) has already caused delays with shipping and deliveries.

As of today, FedEx has posted on their website that they have resumed normal operations:

But please be aware that we have already experienced delays in shipping this month and with a new batch of cold and icy weather headed our way this weekend, shipping delays seem inevitable. We will continue to try our hardest to get your devices in and out as fast as humanly possible at Mission Repair– the rest is up to Mother Nature. I’ll do my best to keep her happy.

Take care, stay warm,

Ryan

That MacBook causing you issues?

When you’re trying to write the next report and find that pinwheel spinning endlessly on your desktop…it’s a frustrating thing. Do you have nightmares about the multicolored pinwheel that just spins in your face? Stop pulling your hair out – those issues don’t just fix themselves.

Call us if you’re having Mac problems. We understand that there are a lot of benefits of working on Macs over Windows laptops, but they are not bullet proof. Yes it’s true there is no real “virus threat” and Macs are significantly ahead of the Microsoft based software system that you’re used to in terms of viruses. But the Mac software is susceptible to bad hardware and “clogged” software and when it chokes, it goes down hard.

Mission Repair can fix the issue, and we offer free diagnosis. Why? Because if you want to know what’s wrong with your computer, we’ll tell ya. And if you want your computer repaired, you’re going to know that we’ll take care of you.

Remember “Mission Repair” for your computer repair needs – with a free diagnosis and no obligation for repairs – you’re in a win-win situation. And you’ll never have to stare at this again:

Unless you like that sort of thing 😉

Take, care, Ryan

Santa is coming. Should I be embarrassed?

So my wife emailed me this afternoon- and I’m not sure what to think about it.

Screen Shot 2013-12-09 at 4.12.15 PM

These are my dogs. The one on the floor, our male “Shadow” and the female in Santa’s lap “Layla” are our babies, there’s no question. But I’m feeling something is a little off seeing my dogs sitting there with the red-suited-white-bearded stranger.

I mean, Shadow is a protection dog and will not hesitate to attack a stranger when needed. I guess I wasn’t there for this session, so he didn’t feel the need to “protect” me, but seeing him next to Santa somehow diminishes his masculinity to me. I mean, this dog is amazing, well trained and prideful. In this picture he seems a bit defeated. Truthfully I’m not sure what I’m actually feeling right now 😉

Furthermore, Layla is a “scaredy-dog” and I can’t even imagine what it took to get her to sit in this Santa’s lap. I don’t know. Half of me wants to delete this pic so I never have to see it again. The other half says “what’s the harm”, it’s the holiday season and it’s cute. I guess.

So here’s to the amazing amount of funny, laughable, cute and amazing pictures we’re going to witness this holiday season. I think this pic deserves a special discount dedicated just for it on our Mission Repair website. Here it is: use coupon code “funnysanta” when checking out online and receive 13% off of any repair we offer between for the 2013 holiday season. Coupon code expires on Christmas, 12/25/13 so act fast!

Have a funny Santa pic of your own? Email it to “sales@missionrepair.com” and we’ll take off an additional 5% off of your repair just for participating. Maybe I’ll even write a blog about your pic…we’ll see!

Take care, talk to you again soon, Ryan
