One *MILLION* is such a lonely number…

No, this is not the newest release from Roxette and not a follow up to their hit song “One is such a lonely number”…kudos to you if you know what year that song was released though. I was a junior in High School 😉

Actually the number ONE MILLION is becoming part of a HUGE Mission Repair Celebration that’s soon to come. When we reach ONE MILLION unique Blog Readers (just like you); we are all going to party. As of today:

I will begin preparations now for the biggest discounts that you’ve ever seen, and we will have lots of fun at each of our locations on this momentus day. I have so many stats, so much data, and have had so much fun being a professional blogger that it’s really exciting to know that soon my blog will reach the 1 Million mark and I’m just going to share my excitement and thanks to everyone.

I’ve been asked many times “do you ever get writers block?” Heck yeah I do. Also, “how did you start your blog?”

That second question is simple. Create a blog on a free blog site, name it, and start typing. In fact, I follow several blogs including past Mission Repair customers, vendors, and others that I just admire. If you’ve got a blog that you author or if I can help you get started on your own blog, let me know and I’ll be happy to be a part of your blog circle. Just reply to post in the comments section and I’m there!

So the big day is coming…the “Mission Repair Million Celebration”…we get about 10,000 new readers each month, so at this pace sometime in October we should be there – whether that ends up being true or not, I’m not going to worry about it. It will happen when it happens, but rest assured that I’ll be right here to share in the big day.

Mission Repair update.

Good morning, Happy Tuesday!

It’s looking like a decent week of weather here in the Kansas City area (where our headquarters is located) and it appears that I’m NOT going to need to travel this weekend, and that’s somewhat of a relief! By the way, when I say “decent”, I mean that it’s generally above freezing and there’s no snow on the ground. I don’t mean “decent” as if I was sitting in Miami at the moment 😉

Not warm per se, but decent for Kansas in February!

Our new Lakewood Colorado store is operating and running smoothly. 2 new employees are trained and doing well, and our new store manager, Chris seems to really be getting into the groove. It’s good to know that location is in good hands.

Our new plan of routing repairs to our Colorado location is working well. It’s a little pressure relief for the technicians here in Kansas, and it’s helping us get ahead of our turn around times.

Our Colorado store is in a fantastic location. In fact, I’m considering spending a little more time in Colorado in the next couple of months.

So from the office or from the road, you can count on us to continually drive for new programs and refresh our services. In fact, Melanie and I are working on streamlining our website as we speak to make the customer checkout process simpler and easier to use. Check back on missionrepair.com within the next couple of days to see what I’m talking about, it’s progress.

We’re busy at work and I’ll be back soon with some awesome specials that can only come from Mission Repair. Take care, Ryan

Mission Repair East or West?

Hello everyone,

We’re making history today; the time has come and today will be the last day of Mission Repair “the old way”!

Starting Monday, 2/2/15, we are now splitting the country into halves for shipping and efficiency purposes.

2015shipmap

If your Shipping Address location is shaded YELLOW ship to:
Mission Repair
(ATTN: YOUR ORDER NUMBER)
3234 S. Wadsworth Blvd.
Unit I
Lakewood, CO 80227

If your Shipping Address location is shaded GREEN ship to:
Mission Repair
(ATTN: YOUR ORDER NUMBER)
19943 W. 162nd St.
Olathe, KS 66062

Additionally, if you order an email shipping label from us, we will automatically pick the most efficient store for your device to be shipped to. It makes shipping, receiving, repair and turnaround more efficient, faster, and in the end better for all of our customers. Additionally, with this new location in Lakewood, Colorado that will be open on Monday, you can also visit us and walk-in your device for repair as well! that’s the idea behind this master plan and in fact, I’ll be in Lakewood on opening day Monday to say hello to all of our new customers.

Until then, thanks for reading and we’ll be back soon with more great info only found here at the Mission Repair blog!

Take care, Ryan

Mission Repair Holiday Hours!

Hello friends,

All of our locations have the same hours each week, and we’re also all going to all enjoy a few days off over the next couple of weeks that I thought we should mention. Our special holiday hours are listed on our website here, but we have a few changes coming up:

1. Saturday night is our employee Christmas Party. This is a big bash and we really let our hair down. We’ve been talking about the 2013 Christmas Party all year long…so in two days time we have to top last year. This won’t affect our business hours…but if we’re a little slow on Sunday you’ll know why!

Yes, we have a surprise Santa and Mrs. Claus coming to our Christmas party this year. I'll be sure to post a few pictures!

2. We will be closing early on December 24th, at 1:00pm. The company will be holding our annual Christmas luncheon this day so get in quick…because the doors close at 1:00pm sharp next Wednesday!

3. We are closed Thursday December 25th, 2014 in observance of Christmas.

4. We are closed Thursday January 1st, 2015 in observance of New Years Day.

Other than that, our business hours will remain open as normal, so stop on by America’s Award-Winning Repair Center, Mission Repair when you can!

Take care, Ryan
