We are making history here at Mission Repair with the new services that we are adding – and Melanie our webmaster is typing as fast as she can! Today, we’re announcing the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9″ Screen Repairs and are taking orders immediately.

You might recall a few days ago that we launched the Kindle Fire HDX 7″ Screen Repairs and we have been taking repair service orders steadily. Just as you might have expected, we’ve expanded our HDX Repairs to the 8.9″ Model as well.

We have more news coming soon from the repair center that you’ve known and trusted for years. I’ll be back soon.

Kindle Unlimited…good news!

Hello friends- I’ve found myself using my Kindle to read more and more lately.

I know, who reads any more, right? Well apparently reading is still a good way to spend quality time in life, and I happen to agree. In fact, Dandra is a librarian, so reading is not an option at the Arter house 😉

Today, Amazon officially released “Kindle Unlimited” which allows the customer to enjoy unlimited access to over 600,000 titles and thousands of audiobooks on any device for just $9.99 a month. There’s a 30-day free trial as well which is really nice! Don’t worry Dandra, I already signed us up.

Amazon is giving you the freedom to explore through reading with their new program. 600,000 titles. Tons of options. I’m in – I thought that I’d pass this along.

My Kindle Fire Won’t Charge!

This little fella has been the cause of a lot of heart ache for many people. Once the solder points break loose and the battery drains, it is the end of the road for this beautiful tablet. We open your beloved Kindle FIre, take out your old, broken micro usb port and replace it with a brand new one! But wait, we take this one step further… Once we open your Kindle and complete the repair, we take one extra step to reinforce your charging port so it is less likely for the same issue to occur again. I won’t go into detail of how we reinforce it (trade secrets my dear friends), but just know we do it for the benefit of you, our loyal customer!
