I Cracked My iPod Touch 5 Glass!

Hello M:R Nation –

It’s hard to keep track of all the devices that Apple has come out with. We here the question “what iPod Touch do I have” all of the time and we understand why, they all look an awful a lot alike! So before going into my spiel about the Touch 5 Screen repair service, lets identify if you in fact have an iPod Touch 5 .

The 5th Generation iPod Touch has features that no other iPod touch has. For starters, it is the first iPod to come in multiple color choices. So if your iPod has a black, white, pink, yellow, blue, or red back casing, you do in fact have a 5th generation iPod Touch! some other key features that are unique to the iPod Touch 5 are the lightning charging port, camera flash, retina display and spring loaded “iPod loop system”. If see any of these features on your touch, you can be sure that you have a 5!

Is it worth repairing that old iPod?

Good morning everyone-

The title poses a good question. And there certainly is a “breaking point” as to when a device is NOT worth repairing. There are a lot of factors involved and everyone’s decision is based on preference.

Let’s take that old iPod you have in the junk drawer – let’s say it’s a 4th Gen iPod touch with a cracked screen and you can’t get it to work because it’s cracked. You have a decision to make – because in this same example you already purchased a replacement iPod, are happy with it and it’s doing well. But you couldn’t bring yourself to toss the broken iPod into the trash but also can’t decide on what to do with it. Well you can have this repaired at Mission Repair for just $59.

Thoughtful business woman

Ok, but then what?

Well, since you’re at a loss on what to do with the iPod already and the unit has been deemed “junk”, and you’ve taken the plunge on buying a new one- you’ve got an iPod paperweight that just taking up junk drawer space. For $59 you have have a 4th Gen iPod that now becomes a great backup, gym pod, Christmas gift or a device that can be passed down to a sibling or child.

It makes sense to start a youngster on a $59 iPod rather than buying new.

Since you know that iPods are breakable, you don’t need to add additional stress giving a unit to a child that was full price, right? Are the possibilities making sense?

Frankly in most cases it does make sense to have your old device repaired. We’ve performed over 100,000 services in the last few years and the proof couldn’t be more evident. Give us a call if you’d like a no obligation quote over the phone. Just dial 866-638-8402 and we’ll be happy to take care of you.

Have a great day, Ryan

Deal Of The Week!

Hello M:R Nation –

With Memorial Day behind us and hints of an emerging summer all around, we at Mission Repair are readying ourselves for the summer rush! Kids are finally done with school, schools are finally done with kids, and parents are once again pulling their hair out ;-)…

During the summer, schools take this time to repair all of those broken devices that have accumulated from the previous year. Parents are put to the task of safeguarding their and their children’s devices from dreaded drops and swimming pools and Mission Repair likes to reinstate our famous Deal Of The Week!

What is our “Famous Deal Of the Week”? It’s very simple, every week we choose a popular service and discount it heavily. This is a huge help to parents out there and we couldn’t be happier to do it!

What Is The Deal?

This weeks “Deal Of The Week” includes two of our all time top services, the 4th Gen iPod Touch BLACK Front Glass & LCD Repair and 4th Gen iPod Touch WHITE Front Glass & LCD Repair! We have taken 22% off the top, making this service only $69.00 for a limited time! So what changes with this “cheaper” service? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We will use the same quality parts, same top notch speed and take the same care we take when completing a repair at “regular price”. Lets just say this is our way of saying “Welcome to Summer”!

So with that, I have many emails and other form of messages to catch up on. I hope everyone enjoys the remainder of their short weeks and I will talk you again soon!

Cheers, Troy
