One of my favorite accessories that we sell is our VOLT USB Charger / Adapter. The Volt XL is a 2.1 amp USB car charger that can conveniently charge USB electronics through your cars 12V outlet. This is a great item to keep in your car for long road trips, camping trips or any activity that keeps you away from wall plug.
This small accessory turns your cigarette lighter into a DUAL USB charger for your phone, camera, iPod or tablet. That’s right – you can charge more than one device at a time! No more fighting over the car charger on road trips.

It’s interesting, I just received this question in an email sent directly to my email address. I wonder if I should reconsider where our telephone number is on the website? I thought the top left was a good place, but then I looked at our mobile site which is “weak” to say the least. I’ll have that fixed shortly. Until then:

Speaking of writers block, did you know that I published a book in 2013? We are hitting some record sales numbers for an “Arter” publication. I can confidently say that because I am the only author in the Arter family at this time! In fact, the book has been selling across the globe with releases in the USA, along with Europe, Canada and even Australia. It’s been a fun ride and wanted to make sure that you knew about it in case is something that might interest you. How to Start a Home Based Computer Repair Business is on sale now!
This time of year really brings out the nostalgic feelings towards the classics. The classics range anywhere from movies (“The Christmas Story”, “Christmas Vacation” and my personal favorite “The Santa Clause”), to food (chex mix, puppy chow, Christmas ham),drinks (eggnog, mulled wine, peppermint anything) and family traditions. At least, those are some of the things that I think about when talking about the “Holidays”. These things are so ingrained into my core, it wouldn’t be the holidays without them.
As I was thinking about what makes the “Holidays”… the “Holidays”, I somehow lost track and started thinking about Apple and their line up of iPods. Their line up has changed over the years. A new iPod Nano here, a redesigned iPod Touch there, but something that remains the same is the ultimate in classics. The iPod Classic!
The iPod Classic is so ingrained into the iPod line up, we as a human race wouldn’t know what to do without it. It made it’s first appearance in 2007 and has been a staple ever since! What makes it so ever present? Well there are my 3 bullet points on it .
Click Wheel – You can never fully kill the click wheel! It is a life changing invention and I don’t ever want to see the end of it!
Storage Capacity – Flash storage is still expensive when you get up to the 100+ GB range. Apple has yet to release any iPod touch with more than 64GB and most hard core music heads have at least double this in their library!
Design – Its hard to fix something that is perfect. When you have finished project or a paper and you get to the point where you know its perfect, you usually don’t revisit it. You just know its done!
Mission Repair has supported the iPod Classic since its creation in 2007 and we are still proud supporters. When these need servicing, it is usually the LCD screen that needs replacing or a battery that has gone dead. We can help you with both of those issues and even more!
Do you still have an iPod classic or are you the owner of a brand new iPod Classic? I would love to hear what draws you to keep it for so long and/or purchase a new one. Shoot me an email at Troy@missionrepair.com and I just might send you something cool in return!
