Mission Repair Express Update-

Hello friends-

Where have I been? I know it’s been a bit since my last blog, but I have an excuse. I’ve been working around the clock on our very first retail store that located in Mission, Kansas.

Mission Repair Express.

I’m back at our corporate headquarters today for a bit just to catch up on some emails and get a blog or two posted. Here’s a sneak peak at some of the progress at the new shop:

I’m not going to show you everything yet 😉 but it’s going to be completed and buttoned up on Sunday of this week! That means that we will be ready to open on Monday, St. Patrick’s Day, with a little luck of the Irish. The final cleanup and walk-through happens Sunday night so we were able to complete the project sooner that expected and we even came in under budget. All positives from my perspective.

However, when I say “we will be open”…we will be open. But a lot of the retail accessories, spare parts and cases will arrive later in the week. We will be open for repairs, consultations, advice and diagnosis on your ailing device. Will we be repairing on Monday? You betcha. Bring that cracked iPhone into us and we’ll take care of it for you with SAME DAY service!

This is the next chapter in the Mission Repair story and I’m glad you’re here with me. It’s been a hard run working late nights, managing the headquarters and keeping the standards of Mission Repair high. I’m going to let you in on a little tidbit as well – I’ll be working at the new location on Monday 3/17/14 but then taking a few days of vacation starting Tuesday. I’m just going to sleep for a few days, maybe even get caught up on some of my favorite TV shows that I’ve been missing. Some rest and relaxation are in order.

Our official ribbon cutting ceremony will be on April 1st, 2014 but don’t hesitate to stop in the store starting Monday of next week to say hello.

Many specials and discounts coming in the next couple of days to coincide with our newest Mission Repair chapter…so stay tuned!

Take care, Ryan

I’ve been writing this blog for a while- in fact, we’ll be entering our 7th year of blog.missionrepair.com blogging in 2014. I’ve always tried to connect with you here and if there’s anything that you’d like to see me write in the blog, just let me know! Send a comment below and we’ll chat. In any case, if you’re one of my subscribers, I sincerely appreciate your readership and I’ll continue to add new and interesting posts when my writers block doesn’t shut me down *temporarily*.

Speaking of writers block, did you know that I published a book in 2013? We are hitting some record sales numbers for an “Arter” publication. I can confidently say that because I am the only author in the Arter family at this time! In fact, the book has been selling across the globe with releases in the USA, along with Europe, Canada and even Australia. It’s been a fun ride and wanted to make sure that you knew about it in case is something that might interest you. How to Start a Home Based Computer Repair Business is on sale now!

Thanks again for reading, I’ll be back soon.

I dropped my iPhone on the carpet and it broke!

Hello friends – we have heard this time and time again.

Can it be true? Dropping an iPhone on your living room rug can cause the screen to crack? I can remember my early Motorola phone that I would intentionally toss across the room – or on the ground – easily on a carpeted surface – and not have an issue.

The fact is that it is true. If you drop an iPhone on carpet it can crack. I have not personally ever seen it, but since we’ve repaired almost a quarter of a million devices in the last 6 years, the sheer number of customers that have stated this is staggering.

What can be done about this? Firstly, keep your iPhone in a case. If you’re a purist like me, that’s going to be tough. I like the sleek and stylish look of the iPhone without a case engulfing it’s body, but if you’re accident prone the case just might save you a trip to our service center. The sad truth is that a case doesn’t guarantee your iPhone’s safety. That’s where Mission Repair can come in handy.

We are constantly running specials and coupon codes for customers to get their iPhones fixed quickly. So if you’re in the market because you’ve recently dropped your iPhone onto the family heirloom rug (or anywhere else) just give us a call. 866-639-8402. We’re here for you.

Take care, Ryan

Terrifying Tuesday Video Blog – Part 2!

Hi again friends of Mission Repair – we are really having a great time this week. Now it’s time for you to get yourself involved and watch this video:

This was about 15 takes in because I kept on laughing. Ok so I admit it, we had a great laugh and most of the outtakes were because of me 😉 If you can’t laugh at yourself, you’re taking life too seriously!

This is a fantastic time to get your device repaired – and receive a gift certificate for your next visit, or even to be given as a gift to a loved one!

Well, stay tuned for tomorrow’s special as we approach the festivities on Thursday. Until then, have a great day.

Ryan

We’re honored that you picked us for this!

Hi again everyone,

Just a quick blog to say that we’ve been featured in a prominent new blog that’s covering our home town of Kansas City. The website, BloggerLocal.com has featured us in their lineup!

So after an in-depth interview with journalist Ben Hartman, the article went up a few days ago. It’s a perfect fit for us since we have really established Mission Repair as the place to visit in Kansas City for iPhone and iPad repairs, even among the heavy competition that keeps popping up.

Well here’s to a great afternoon here in the KC area with fantastic weather today and I’ll be back shortly with a new Mission Repair special.

Best, Ryan
