I’ve poised the question to our employees at our quarterly meeting, and we have a split decision. I mean we just finished out new shipping room and new break room and it seems that we are all doing quite well with the space we have…in fact there’s still more room to grow. However our current space is down a dead end street and not all that convenient for our customers to find us.
How would a drive through work? It’s possible that Mission Repair will have the first drive-through iPhone repair center in the country (that I know of) – so we are working on it. It would be especially helpful in the cold winter months here in Kansas so our customers wouldn’t have to jump out of the car with the kiddos in the snow…things become a mess.
Well, we’ve got another meeting today at 11:00am to visit a few locations right off of I35, so I’ll have an answer for us soon. It’s a tough decision to move from a home that we love; and yes I only live about 5 miles from our current location. Maybe it’s time to relocate a bit for our customer’s sake, we’ll have some more info for you soon!
Take care, have a great day in the sunshine, wherever you are.
I was sitting next to Melanie when she took a phone call from a customer that said that she dropped her iPhone into a Wendy’s Frosty and it stopped working…BUMMER!
Now don’t get me wrong, I love a Frosty from time to time, however I’ve never dropped anything into one – but I’m sure that I’ve dropped some Frosty on my shirt at some point!
So it becomes a question of “Can Mission Repair Fix it?”
The bottom line is that we can fix anything. In some cases, it can become too costly – I’ve used this example before – let’s say if it was run over by a truck. Yes it can be repaired, but if we have to replace EVERYTHING, we’d probably just advise our customer to obtain a new device altogether.
However thousands of times each month, we service, repair, and deliver devices back to happy customers repaired…which is why we are in business. Can we repair an iPhone that was dropped into a Frosty? You betcha. Want to get on our good side? Drop off your iPhone with an extra Frosty for me and I’ll take care of business 😉
Ok, after all of the Holiday food that I’ve been eating lately, I don’t need a Frosty right now. I need a salad.
To all of us that have overeaten a bit this holiday season; the New Year is right around the corner and my resolution will be announced soon. I’m thinking a new gym membership is in my future, maybe I’ll see you there.
Did you know that today marks the beginning of our BUSY season? I mean really busy. November is going to be unbelievable and December each year is typically always off the charts. So today we’re taking some time to have some fun. I wore a “mullet” wig into work today (I have a feeling that it’ll make the blog at some point today) and the mood is light and festive at the moment around the Mission Repair tech lab.
At any of our locations today you can stop by and grab a goodie bag of treats. Not only will this freebie take care of your sweet tooth, it will also give you 10% off of your next repair with us in the future.
So have a fun and safe Halloween – and if you’re in the neighborhood stop on by and grab a treat bag at Mission Repair. Trick or treat!
