Here’s my son Casey and his girlfriend at his Junior Prom last weekend, the pictures just came through on the prom website. Is he going to “love” that I posted this here on the Mission Repair blog? Nope. I will certainly hear about it tonight…but it’s not intended to make fun of him or to in any way demean the experience; my prom(s) were memorable and exciting!
It’s that time of year – that time that the “tuxedo guys” are doing some great business and all of the hair stylists are booked up on the weekends.
So Casey, good job buddy – you’ve just made an excellent life memory. You will look back at this picture and laugh at your hair, or your tux, or your something else…I guarantee it. If I had the guts I’d post a picture of my 80’s Junior prom, but I don’t. I’ll keep that to myself but all I have to say is “mullet” and we’ll leave it at that!
So to honor all of the prom goers that are out there this month, we’re going to run a 15% coupon today through Easter Sunday 4/20/14 at Midnight on our Mission Repair website. Just use coupon code “casey” when checking out online or when calling in your order. If you walk into one of our locations, print this blog and hand it to your sales representative for an instant 15% savings on your new order. This coupon cannot be combined with any other coupon. You’re going to need that iPhone to take pictures!
September came and went – now October is here and in particular football season is in full swing. In fact, if you spent any time in front of the television yesterday watching football, you saw some fantastic games – even a game that went late into the evening!
Since we are a Kansas City based company, we’ve been running specials every week on our local 101 the Fox radio station before, during and after each Kansas City Chiefs game. In fact you can hear me issue a special each week according to the number of touchdowns the Chiefs score.
Yesterday they scored two touchdowns. Yes, I’ll even give the discount when they score on special teams touchdown too, so their sole offensive touchdown gets added to the total. Need that iPhone repaired? When the Chiefs score, you score!
How much of a discount to we offer? Well you’re just going to have to tune in to hear the live broadcast each week, and for those of you that don’t live in Kansas City, you can hear each broadcast live here!
Why not add to your savings when using Mission Repair? You’re probably going to watch or listen to the games anyway right? I’m just here to help.
Hello folks, I know that you’ve been watching the news on the new iPhones like the colorful new iPhone 5C and the new more powerful iPhone 5S…
But what about us “old” iPhone 5 users that aren’t ready to make the “upgrade” move yet? This is where I’m at- in fact, I switched carriers recently and there’s no way I’m going to make the move from my iPhone 5 until long after my term ends…so I’m in the mode to protect and extend the life of my iPhone 5 as long as possible as I know a lot of people are!
Another Mission Repair price drop!
That’s why at Mission Repair we’re like a safety net for our customers that just use us when they need us. That would be, for example, if someone cracked their screen. Yikes! This leads me to my next segue into the new announcement that we just lowered our iPhone 4 screen repair price as of last night to the lowest price to date! Why did we lower our price?
Well as usual we were able to lower our costs on the screen from our vendors, and we are just passing the savings onto you.
So when the new iPhone 5S starts shipping – don’t be envious of your buddy that got his in the mail; even if you love to have the newest and most cutting edge products. It’s OK, I won’t even be getting a new iPhone 5S (even though I want one!) because you’ve got us at Mission Repair in your corner. We’ll keep that old, outdated 😉 iPhone 5 running for years. Think of the money you’ll actually save.
OK, moving on to new products and services being released today. I’ll follow up with you here in our blog with fantastic news shortly!
Good morning everyone, I am very excited to offer an amazing new price on the iPhone 5 screen repair service that we offer!
Question:Why did we drop the price?

For just $149 you don’t have live with that cracked iPhone 5 screen any longer.
It’s getting close the the big day – Superbowl Sunday on February 3rd, 2013. It’s a big day because of course we are going to be able to watch the 2 best teams in Football face off in what looks like is going to be a spectacular matchup. As the playoffs continue, its fun to watch these amazing teams square up. . .and there were some fantastic stories this year with rookie quarterbacks and retiring veterans. And no Chiefs.
It’s also a big day because we at Mission Repair have signed up for another 2 commercials that will air in the Superbowl at halftime! Yes we are currently in production finalizing our new 2-part commercial that will air at halftime during this years 2013 SuperBowl and they are going to be amazing! We have really stepped up our game on this one, no pun intended.
We are excited and we’ve got a huge Superbowl party scheduled at the Arter house. It’ll be a fun day, but more likely a stressful/exciting day as the game develops and the commercials land on our TV screen. As a business owner, there’s a major point of pride during the game and I’m excited to bring another piece of entertainment to you!
We are a little over the 2 month anniversary of the release of the iPhone 5. It continues to receive accolades from everyone in the industry and I can say by experience, these are well deserved accolades. The only thing missing on this beauty was Google Maps. Now, if you read my previous post, you would know that this problem has finally been solved!
Broken iPhone 5 Screens
So now that you and I now own the perfect communications device, what could go wrong? Well, if you notice the picture above, this is what can go very wrong.
With a plethora of drop tests circulating around the internet, you can see that the iPhone 5 can take a nice beating. But drop it too many times or just in the right area and you will see the above result. There is no such thing as uncrackable glass (Or at least that I can find), there is no real cure for butterfingers and you can’t really control an accident.
So where does this leave us? It leaves us at the repair stage. There is absolutely no better alternative to repairing an iPhone or any other Smartphone for that matter. Replacing will cost you well over any repair cost, throwing it out in no way helps this place we live on called Earth and living with the problem is just annoying/hindering.
Hello everyone, I’ve been scrambling to keep up with these days that are flying by.
Last night my crew finished up adding another 13 new tech stations that we are staffing for as we speak. The room is ready – chairs, tools, phones and computers are on order. We will have this new capability rocking by the end of the month.
Doesn’t look like much now, but it will be a well-oiled machine in a few short weeks.
What does 13 new positions equate to? That’s a lot of mouths to feed 😉 It’s approximately 200 additional units per day down the production lines- that’s 200 more units received, pretested and barcoded, disassembled, reassembled with a new part, quality controlled, cleaned, packed and shipped. That’s a heck of a lot of iPhone fixes! It’s also 13 more jobs that we’re bringing to the Kansas City area and if you’ll looking, please apply here.
Speaking of “shipped” – we have FedEx stretched out to come at 7:00pm so we are able to ship later than ever before which means that we are sliding our average repair time up – and most of our units are getting repaired the same day that we get them which is over delivering on our 24 hour turnaround time and that’s a good thing!!!
So I can take a short break for now, clean up the saw dust and get back to business. You’ll be hearing more from me on the blog and I have an awesome coupon code coming tomorrow. Talk to you again on Wednesday!
