Progress is being made, and there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hello friends,

We’re working around the clock to get our new Mission Repair Express location done and open. In fact we are still ahead of schedule and with a grand opening date of 4/1/14, I’m almost 100% sure that we’ll be ready in just about 2 weeks. That means that things are going well with the build-out and these 12 hour days are going to pay off!

We have most of the sheet rock installed except for a few places that I’ve purposely left open for the wiring of the alarm and camera systems…and those are going in today!

Now, all that’s left to do is “finish”. We are installing the remaining sheet rock, paneling, slatboard and countertops this weekend. After that the floor is going to be installed, and then I’m going to “install” a few employees so we can flip on the lights and unveil the world’s first Mission Repair Express…I have a feeling that these will start popping up all over the country. Ok, I won’t get ahead of myself just yet…one at a time Ryan 😉

So it’s back to work for me…thanks for reading and I’ll talk to you again shortly.

Sincerely, Ryan

Kiwi green – my new favorite color.

Hello friends, it’s been a while since my last blog post.

We’ve been working 12 hour days and I finally got to take a few days off to head to the woods with a few friends. We rented a cabin, locked ourselves inside, and did what a bunch of guys would do without the stresses of “normal” daily life. We did absolutely nothing! I have to admit, the BBQ steaks were a highlight. Darrin brought 7.5 lbs of porterhouse steaks for the 5 of us…and they were truly amazing last Saturday night!

Well, we’re back from the fun and in my office which is really “my reality”. My home away from home so to speak. In a few hours, I’ll be heading back to our new location in Mission, Kansas to install our new Kiwi counter tops at Mission Repair Express, which is due to open on 4/1/14. Yes, the counters are Kiwi green…a perfect match for our retail location! Here we are carrying them into the warehouse last week:

MIssion Repair Express

We’re getting close- the floors will be installed this week and then the cleanup begins…we will be stocking the site and open for business. I’m really excited about the progress we’ve made and we’re on the final push. There’s been a lot of talk about Mission Repair Express- but let’s not forget about the mother ship, our Corporate Headquarters and Main Service Lab in Olathe – which is expanding too and will be open in just about a week. I look forward to posting a few blogs about this progress soon; the reception area is amazing and we’ll even have a customer waiting room with television, food and drinks in comfort. I know that you’ll appreciate it when you visit us.

We had a record breaking number of customers come to our Olathe site last weekend (while I was out “sitting” at the cabin), and I wanted to thank each of you for visiting.

I’m back in the saddle helping out the production line getting these repairs done as quickly as possible. If you’re waiting to pick up your device, our new automated calling system should be dialing your number soon; thank you for your business.

Ok, more awesome Mission Repair news coming soon, have a great day

Ryan

Cracked iPhone 5C Screen?

Hello M:R Nation –

If the answer to that question above is yes, than you have come to the right place! Over the last few months, Mission Repair has become your go to repair facility for the iPhone 5C! We have had the pleasure of repairing these for folks all over the USA and are happy to have formed many “customers for life” in the process!

Some view the iPhone 5C as the younger, cheaper, less popular sibling of the iPhone 5S. While it was announced at the same time, it doesn’t have the all metal design and the fancy fingerprint scanner. Sure, this judgment is easy to make if you have never held one of these in your hand! After using the iPhone 5C, you will quickly realize that the experience of using it is not better or worse than using an iPhone 5 or iPhone 5S, it’s just different.

However, something that remains the same is what you see below. I don’t care if you have an iPhone 3G, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S or anything in between. When it slips out of your hands and lands on its corner or flat on its face, you are likely going to be dealing with what the customer below dealt with.

iphone 5 c screen repair

Did you see how I used the word “dealt”? It’s past tense of the word “deal”. You see, with Mission Repair, there is no more need to just “deal” with your cracked screen. We will take your green, pink, blue, yellow, white or whatever color iPhone 5C that you own, remove the cracked mess that is a screen and replace it with a brand new screen. It is that simple!  There is no longer a need to power through a phone call because of broken glass…

Above is the result of our customer no longer dealing with the annoyance of holding their phone 2 inches away from their face or talking on speaker phone or receiving glass splinters trying to type in their pass code! This is simply a much better way to live! Owning something that doesn’t work correctly or needing an improvised method of use is one of my biggest pet peeves. If there is a possibility to make it work like it should, why not take the time to do so?

Ok, so have I convinced you to finally take care of that little problem? Great! Click here to get started: iPhone 5C Front Glass Screen Repair! After you choose your shipping and turnaround options, add to your care and let us take it from there! As always, call (866-638-8402) or email (sales@missionrepair.com) with any questions, comments or concerns!

Cheers, Troy

What are you doing Sunday? We have a pigskin special you might want to read about.

Hello Mission Repair friends-

We’ve been in the news lately and even on NBC new last week. If you haven’t heard, Mission Repair (and businesses like Mission Repair) are offering safe and convenient repairs for your trusty hand held electronics (like iPads and tablets) and have been doing so for many years.

Did you stock up on Velveeta for this weekend?

Did you stock up on Velveeta for this weekend?

In fact, 2014 will start our 7th year in business…and the 2014 Superbowl is just right around the corner!

This weekend represents a couple of amazing football games. First, we’ve got the New England Patriots playing against the Denver Broncos at 3:00pm est. Brady vs. Manning; this ought to be a great game. Then immediately thereafter, we’ve got the San Francisco 49ers playing against the Seattle Seahawks at 6:30 est. Kaepernick vs. Wilson. Not to be outdone by the earlier game, this matchup promises to be equally as exciting!

If you watch football at all, you’re likely finding yourself already making predictions and leaning toward who you think will be in the Superbowl in February, even if your team has already been eliminated from the playoffs.

If you don’t watch football at all- that’s ok. Just take a glimpse of a game and pick the team that has your favorite colors – because that probably has more bearing on the outcome of these games that anything else. You get what I’m saying? It’s all up in the air and anything can happen!

Here’s what I’m going to do. Do yourself a favor and watch these games. It’s only two – or at least watch the highlights of the games. Whichever of these teams scores the most touchdowns…I’ll give 5% off of your new repair order for each touchdown.

So, let’s make this clear: I don’t care who wins or when. But out of these 4 teams, whichever team scores the most touchdowns (extra points, field goals, safety’s are not included) I’m talking the team with the most 6 POINT TOUCHDOWNS we will extend 5% off for each. For example, if the Denver Broncos score 7 touchdowns this weekend, we will offer 35% off of any repair on Monday.

So here’s the catch: watch the games and find out which team scored the most touchdowns this weekend. Then call us between 8am and 6pm central standard time on Monday January 20th, 2014 and ask for the FOOTBALL SPECIAL. This offer is valid ONLY ON NEW PHONE ORDERS MONDAY JANUARY 20TH, 2014. If you call before or after our operating hours on Monday, the special will be over! Additionally, you won’t be able to combine this special with any other offer. I mean, I’m really putting myself out on a limb here. 7 touchdowns is NOT out of the realm of any of these teams!! Denver has already done that in the regular season…so it’s completely possible.

866-638-8402.

What happens if there’s a tie between two teams? Will you be able to double your savings? No, but that would be interesting 😉

This is a potential boatload of money savings for you, and a great time to get that iPhone or iPod repaired. Hut, hut, hike!

Have a great weekend, we’ll be talking on Monday for sure.

Best, Ryan

I dropped my iPhone on the carpet and it broke!

Hello friends – we have heard this time and time again.

Can it be true? Dropping an iPhone on your living room rug can cause the screen to crack? I can remember my early Motorola phone that I would intentionally toss across the room – or on the ground – easily on a carpeted surface – and not have an issue.

Screen Shot 2013-12-04 at 12.03.45 PM-1

The fact is that it is true. If you drop an iPhone on carpet it can crack. I have not personally ever seen it, but since we’ve repaired almost a quarter of a million devices in the last 6 years, the sheer number of customers that have stated this is staggering.

What can be done about this? Firstly, keep your iPhone in a case. If you’re a purist like me, that’s going to be tough. I like the sleek and stylish look of the iPhone without a case engulfing it’s body, but if you’re accident prone the case just might save you a trip to our service center. The sad truth is that a case doesn’t guarantee your iPhone’s safety. That’s where Mission Repair can come in handy.

We are constantly running specials and coupon codes for customers to get their iPhones fixed quickly. So if you’re in the market because you’ve recently dropped your iPhone onto the family heirloom rug (or anywhere else) just give us a call. 866-639-8402. We’re here for you.

Take care, Ryan
