Hello everyone, how’s your Tuesday afternoon going?
Well I just finished going over and analyzing my monthly numbers and metrics here at Mission Repair and there was a glaring standout…our walk-in business is really rocking. In fact, there are a couple of notable numbers that I can share with you.
1. Cyber Monday (that’s the Monday after the Thanksgiving weekend) is typically our busiest day of the year. Each Cyber Monday is increasingly more busy each year and we’re looking forward to Cyber Monday 2013. However; Monday June 24th, 2013 was our second largest repair order input day in Mission Repair’s history, second only to Cyber Monday 2012. This was an unexpected increase!
2. We had the most walk-in customer repair orders June 2013 in the company history. It appears that we’re really reaching a lot of Kansas City local customers. It’s a fact that any time I visit our reception area there’s at least one customer waiting for their device to be repaired.
3. In the month of June, we had our largest number of Mission Repair Blog Reads in the company history. We are now getting more creative with the blog and you’ll see some awesome giveaways and specials that can only be found here. Let’s face it, 738,000 unique visitors can’t be wrong!

All of this means that we can continue to drive our costs down and bring more value to our customers. We know that the issue of electronics repairs can be dicey, and there are a lot of non-desirable repair shops in the industry. Do yourself a favor and a little due diligence before you select a service center to repair that cracked iPad or Mac Laptop- you’ll find some surprising results.
In fact, I noticed that one of our biggest competitors was in today because they needed help with a repair. That’s OK, we’ll be friends and if we can help it’s good for everyone!
