iPad Mini 3 screen repairs- now at Mission Repair!

Hello friends, it’s time to announce a new service that we officially launched in March;

iPad Mini 3 Glass and Screen Repairs!

It’s starting to get a little confusing with all of these models, and you might even point out that the iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2 and the iPad Mini 3 all have the same from glass panel. THIS IS NOT TRUE!

The iPad Mini 3 has a different size home button opening in the glass, so you CANNOT interchange these parts between the generations. Just letting those technicians out there in the DIY community know.

These units do not have a fused glass, digitizer and LCD assembly, so if you break one, you don’t have to replace the other. This is unlike some of the other iPad models (like the iPad Air 2) that we can’t simply replace the “glass only”. This is good news for it’s “repairability” and longevity.

The more I blog about these new iPads, the more I personally want one. I’m getting close to pulling the trigger; do I want and iPad Air, or iPad Mini, or just to simply upgrade my MacBook Air which I’m typing on now and have been using for several years? I know that Apple wants me to get one of each 😉

One drop face-down on a hard surface and you could be the victim of a cracked iPad glass, LCD, or worse. We understand that these situations happen, and we here at Mission Repair are on your side. We’ll get your iPad repaired and back to you anywhere in the USA, FAST. Here is how it works:

Step 1: Place your 24 Hr iPad Screen Repair order online at www.missionrepair.com or give us a call at 1-866-638-8402 to place your order over the phone. During this step you will determine your inbound and outbound shipping options in order to get your device to us safely.

Step 2: Once your order has been placed you will receive a confirmation email with your order number and shipping instructions. These instructions include tips on packing your device in to us safely as well as a map to choose which location you would like to ship your device in to for service. We service EVERY address in the USA!

Step 3: After you have shipped your device accordingly, Mission Repair will then receive your unit at one of our repair facilities. Upon arrival you will receive an email to let you know it made it to our service center safely.

Step 4: Your iPad will be pre-tested and if any additional repairs are needed we will contact you immediately (we don’t perform any additional repairs without your approval). Then, one of our certified iPad technicians will replace the shattered glass with a brand new screen.

Step 5: The repaired iPad will then tested one more time at our Quality Assurance department to make sure everything is working properly after repair.

Step 6: Your repaired unit is shipped back to you according to your selected return shipping option. You will receive an email with tracking information once your unit has been shipped so you know when to expect it.
