It’s still Cyber Monday – but it feels like it’s Friday already.

Wow, it’s just now about 6pm on Cyber Monday, and what a day this has been.

I have projects stacked up behind me. . .and they all had to wait due to the enormous amount of calls and new customers we received today. In fact, we’ve already broken every Mission Repair record to date including number of orders taken in a single day, number of phone calls, number of walk ins and number of repairs- and we still have 6 hours to go in this miraculous Cyber Monday event!

So we are still here – and we are open extra late tonight. Normally we close at 6pm, but doors are open and the phone system is still rocking. We have several representatives answering live so if you’re in need of an iPhone repair or if it’s time to get that tablet screen repaired, make your move now. Let me help you out a bit – we are offering FREE shipping on your repair (to anywhere in the USA!) and we also have a Cyber Monday coupon code available. Just use “cyber12” when you checkout online and it’ll save you an additional 12% of your entire order total on this 2012 Cyber Monday! Remember that this coupon expires today!

Ok, I have to get back to the phone system now and we’re coming back to you with more goodies and info from all of your friends at Mission Repair very soon.

Take care!

Ryan

It’s true, we’re expanding!

So we’ve been diligently working on our expansion here at Mission Repair and this is just a quick blog to let you know that the building is almost complete and our new call center should be open in January.

The number of telephone calls that we are receiving seems to be astounding!  As of 2:15 today we are caught up on calls and we get to take a small breather before they light up again!

Here’s a rendering of our new call center in action:

Ha!  Of course this is not a rendering of our new call center 😉 Actually, this is a picture of a 1926 Switchboard from somewhere in California and these ladies would answer the phone whenever you would dial “0” from a land line in their area.  They stayed busy, but I’d put up any one of our Mission Repair employees against them any day!  We know what busy feels like!

Our call center won’t have this many operators, however you do get a real live human being when you dial 866-638-8402 and THEN dial “0”.  Our phone system is highly advanced, it will keep you in the queue and all of our calls are answered in the order in which they are received.

Try it, I dare ya!

Talk to you soon, Ryan

It’s parade season, and we have front row seats!

Hello all, it’s a wonderful morning here at Mission Repair. We’ve solidified our parade schedule, dressed up our Deuce and a Half, and we’re ready to hit the streets Saturday. Mission Repair is on the move!

We’ll be starting the parade events in Olathe, our hometown and our territory. Olathe puts on the Old Settlers Days starting today September 8th through Saturday the 10th. The 10th is the day of the parade and we’ll see you on the streets at 10:00am. You won’t be able to miss our entry:

Watch for the Deuce and grab some goodies!

I’ll be driving, and there will be 10 of us handing out candy, prizes and even a few t-shirts. Maybe you can get your very own Mission Repair frisbee 😉 We’ll be handing out coupon cards so everyone wins and we’ll be happy to answer questions or help after the parade. Should we do some repairs on-site? We’ll see!

I’ll be back soon with more parade info and showings in the area. Want us to participate in your event? Email us here and we’ll see how we can help!

Take care, Ryan

So what do you do when Apple declines your AppleCare warranty? Call Mission Repair!

Good afternoon everyone – it’s true. 866-638-8402

When the manufacturer declines your warranty coverage, they are not only declining your repair request, but they are also deeming the entire unit “out of warranty”. Even if you paid for extended coverage!

We know this first hand. We just had a customer have their iPad 2 screen repaired – a very typical repair for us – because Apple declined the service when the customer sent it in under his AppleCare warranty. Specifically the customer was told:

“Your IPAD 2 has been inspected by Apple technicians, who have determined that the cost of repairing it exceeds the cost of replacing it with a new product. As such, Apple is unable to service your product as you had requested and is returning it to you unrepaired. You should expect to receive it within two business days along with a letter that gives details of this assessment.”

Well, I am here to tell you that it costs $209 to have an iPad 2 screen repaired at Mission Repair. And it was done in 24 hours. And it has a 1 year warranty against defects. And it was delivered back to the customer with GOT REPAIR benefits automatically included with the repair. . .which means if it’s ever broken again (ANYTIME IN THE FUTURE) then the customer never pays full price again. Simply amazing.

Remember MISSION REPAIR. We will be here for you when the manufacturer won’t. We’re not in the business of selling you or upgrading you to a new product. We’re in the business of keeping your current investment running, working, and giving you the performance that you expect. Go Apple!

Have a great weekend, Ryan
