It’s always great when I get to drop the prices on a repair due to falling part costs! June is the month that brings the iPad Air 2 under the $200 mark. Thankfully as each device ages the parts costs slide down to a point the repairs make sense. The iPad Air 2 parts costs had been slowly sliding down for months but now that the iPad Pro is out the prices have dropped to a point the repair makes sense. I’ve adjusted prices as quickly as possible to bring the best value on this repair over the past few months. Now I’m expecting to see the parts level out a bit as it’s settled into a reasonable price point based on the cost of the device. Wether you are looking to repair and keep using or repair the Air 2 if your looking to sell it to upgrade to the iPad Pro.
Check out our Deal of the Month on the iPad Air 2 glass/LCD repair! This price is literally HALF the cost this repair was just 60 days ago. The part is more expensive than the normal iPad 2,3 or 4 and even the 1st Generation iPad Air due tot he fact the glass and LCD are fused together. The thinner the devices become more of a challenge for manufacturers to build so they turn to fusing parts and finding ways to make the devices thinner for each new generation of device. Permanently bonding the glass and LCD allows them to shave few millimeters in thickness. Great for marketing, not always great for consumers when it comes to the repair costs. However, the iPad Air 2 has many years of use left in it with cutting edge mobile components that will stream 4k video’s, run graphic intense mobile games and do just about anything a laptop can do.
Once again we are dropping the price on the Apple iPad Air 2 front glass and LCD repair! We are constantly working to lower our parts costs, improve our repair time and keep the same quality you have come to trust with the Mission Repair. As i’ve talked about before when a new device is launched the parts are always expensive and drop over time. The iPad Air 2 is no exception, however it’s taken some dramatic price cuts in the past 30 days so if you have been waiting to get your iPad Air 2 repaired, it’s time!
Feel free to stop by one of our locations or mail in your device and we will have you fixed up and back to “like new” condition in no time!
Since the release of the iPad Air 2 we’ve had hundreds of requests for screen repairs and this month seems to be all “iPad Air 2 Screen Repairs” because we are receiving them in constantly from all over the USA.
Typically, they are just cracked like this one below:
And once we work our magic, this unit looks new again like this:
Cracked glass on your iPad Air 2? No problem, you’ve come to the right place. Mission Repair is on your side and we understand these situations happen. Our certified technicians will repair your cracked screen with a brand new one and get your device back to you fast!
We’ve got new parts in stock for the iPad Air 2 screen services that we’ve begun to offer;
These units have a fused glass, digitizer and LCD assembly, so if you break one, you’re going to get the other. This is unlike some of the other iPad models that we can simply replace the “glass only”.
I don’t own one of these devices, but I’ve seen quite a few of them and they are starting to tempt me. Its thin frame helps keep the marquee tablet looking sleek and exciting, and the extra burst of performance ensures that it stays among the most powerful tablets on the market for the next year. I’ve heard that it could use a little help with battery life compared to the original Air, but it’s still an improvement over the iPad fourth-gen and older.
We’ve already had many customers need their glass replaced, and a new screen repair at Mission Repair does the trick.
