Apple 1:1 School Repair Program at Mission Repair

Hello there friends,

We’ve got a lot to talk about as we have made some simple changes in our Apple One to One School Repair program – if you didn’t already know, we offer repairs to schools around the country to assist in their efforts to maintain student devices.

Not only is this something that we have been doing for over 8 years (even before the One to One Program was released) and we’re happy to report that we are providing services for even some “Apple-Distinguished Schools” as time has progressed.

 

Why?  It’s a matter of economics.  There are scenarios that Mission Repair is a far better fit for some school districts than AppleCare.  Apple has done a good job of selling units and service programs, but they don’t do something that Mission Repair does, and that’s offer a better price on a service for a unit that has already been repaired once before.

It’s called our Got Repair program, and it’s the shining light that schools are looking for.

The best part about it is that even if you use our services as an “end user”, you get the Got Repair benefit automatically on our screen repairs.  Just check it out on our site, and you may know why Mission Repair stands above the rest.

We Will Never Forget The iPad 2!

Hello M:R Nation –

With yesterdays news, it’s clear that Apple has decided to take the iPad 2 out to the pasture. What has long been the superstar, entry level iPad for many people, is now just a memory and I gotta tell you, it gets me a little emotional. This is the iPad 2 we are talking about! It’s really what changed the game for all tablets from here on out.

While Apple is bringing back the iPad 4 to replace it as the entry level model, it doesn’t make this hurt any less. This is the iPad 2 we are talking about! We all know the original iPad was just a testing ground for what is and was the best ever tablet released. If you are a company and about to release a tablet and it does’t match the power and overall usability of this 3 year old relic, you should probably go back to the drawing board…

So, enough of my rant…

So, You Received An iPad For Christmas?

Hello M:R Nation and New iPad Owners –

Congratulations on your brand new iPad! Whether this is your very first iPad or a replacement for an older model, you are ecstatic about the technology in your hands! This is a very understandable emotion to have!

Now, what happens if that technology accidentally slips out of your hands? As in, you drop it and damage your brand new gift! This is obviously not something you would like to think about at the moment, but it is an unfortunate reality of iPad ownership :-(. While there are many thoughts on how to prevent damaging your brand new iPad and many folks will go the whole life of their iPad ownership without said damage, I find that more often than not, if you have an iPad in your hands… it will be damaged at some point.

My personal experience!

Now, that last statement I made could just be a product of my environment or maybe even my personal experience (3 damaged iPads later) but I think it’s important that you know what can and might just happen to your awesome new gift!

Ok, I think I have drilled the point long enough…but now what? Well, this is where Mission Repair comes in! Hello friends.

This is my first breath of the day – it’s a rocking Monday here at the Mission Repair headquarters. I thought this would be the calm before the shopping “storm” that’s headed our way on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Ready – set – get your wallets out because the holiday shopping season is here!

So we’ve been fairly active on Facebook lately and just cracked 11,000 likes this morning. This is great news because the word is spreading fast and more and more people are talking about Mission Repair. I mean, we’re not Apple (that has almost 1 million likes I might add) but we are fans of Apple, and the Apple service specialists. You might even call us Apple geniuses but I wouldn’t want to take that title from the employees that work at the Apple Stores…we’ll let them have it 😉
