Mission Repair Thanksgiving Luncheon = Success!

Hello all, we had our traditional Mission Repair Thanksgiving Luncheon today … it was delicious! It was just what we needed before heading out for a long weekend of, well, eating šŸ˜‰

I love these group get togethers and it’s a great time to learn about one another. For example, did you know that Neptune has 64 moons? I learned that today during lunch. You learn something new every day!

Have a great Thanksgiving break! Just to let you know, Mission Repair is closed Tomorrow and Friday but we’ll be back Saturday. . .see you then!

Take care, Ryan

The iPad 2 will have a camera. My prediction came true!

Good afternoon- yeah, I know that this blog title is old news already, but I’m just back to link to my original blog that talked about the iPad camera that I posted back on 2/1/10 – just over a year ago. Here’s the title:

iPad Camera rumor becoming a reality? We think so.

This blog post created a lot of buzz for us, and many naysayers blogged that I was wrong or how could I possibly know whether or not the next iPad would have a camera. Well, it was a good educated guess that it would have a camera. We also had parts in hand (see that blog link above) that showed Apple’s prototype iPad frame with a camera location.

The simple fact is that in the last paragraph of that original blog I state “It appears that the plans to have camera in the iPad is a reality. Iā€™m looking forward to the iPad. . .Rev 2.”

Naysayers, trust me. You can give me a call anytime 866-638-8402.

Want to know what’s happening on the 3rd revision of the iPad? I’ll let you know soon enough.

Thanks, Ryan

Dinner for Mission Repair!

Hello everyone- OK, we’ve been so busy here I can’t even find time to write a blog post! It’s been a couple of weeks of interviews (I had over 500 applicants for 2 positions that I was filling), we hired another shipping employee, another new iPhone technician, started a new QA program that is sure to be a huge success, and had 2 new customer service representatives start this week. Pretty soon I get to get some rest!

I’m starting tonight. I invited the entire company to a movie tonight. It’s date night at Mission Repair šŸ˜‰ and I’m taking everyone out to see “Dinner for Schmucks” at our local AMC 30. It’s also a “Fork and Screen” presentation so we get dinner and drinks served to our table while we watch the movie, it’s pretty cool! It’s a good way for the entire business to bond and get some laughs in- well, at least I hope the movie is funny. If not we’ll just have to make some comedy up ourselves. The “Dinner for Hucks” joke is already getting old with my QA Administrator, Huck, who doesn’t see the humor in it!

OK, so tomorrow I’ll report back and get a quote from each employee that attends the showing tonight- talk to you in the morning!!

See ya, Ryan

Cyber Monday Recap and Incase Specials!

That was a monster of a Cyber Monday. Our telephone system needs a tune up after that one. Every time I looked down, all (and I mean ALL) of our phone lines were lit up with customers calling in and placing orders. We broke some “all time” records yesterday, thanks to everyone that participated in our Cyber Monday extravaganza. Also, thanks to everyone that tried to call in and got a busy signal. . .we really appreciate your patience. . .and we are back under control this morning šŸ˜‰

I’ve posted up a FREE SHIPPING Incase Special for the month of December. If you need a new case for your iPhone or MacBook, we’ve got the best protection for you in stock! No coupon necessary, just place your order and we’ll send it out to you FedEx at no charge. You can see the details of the shipping when you add your Incase to your shopping cart!

I’m going to take a break from my desk here at Mission Repair and run out to my shipping department to give those guys some help. We are committed to getting our packages out on time, so it looks like I’m going to need to volunteer for a little bit. Don’t worry, it’s a good thing!

Talk to you again soon, and thanks for stopping by.
