HTC vs What?!?

Hello all –

Once in awhile, we see some pretty crazy stuff here at Mission Repair. A few days ago, a customer brought us what used to be a HTC One M9… it’sĀ a phone that defies physics! This particular HTC One had a battle with… well, I’m not really sure- but it lost. The amazing things was that the back aluminum housing bent so badly that the buttons popped out, yet the front glass screen was not broken. Unfortunately, everything inside was bent or cracked so badly that it was BOE (beyond economical repair). RIP Mr. HTC.

Duck, duck, GOOSE!

Hello friends-

Tayler (you might have met her working at Mission Repair Express) was managing the front desk yesterday and saw a large bird walking by the front window…only to be followed by an entire army of geese that were apparently unafraid of the traffic, construction and people that occupy the downtown area of Mission, Kansas!

This is an unusual sight for such a busy street. There are thousands of cars that pass in front of our store each day and it’s not a good place for wildlife in my opinion. These geese were unaware of the apparent danger…either that or they really wanted to do some window shopping in our neighborhood!

Speaking of window shopping, the City of Mission is starting a contest shortly that involves all of the businesses in the shopping district. This will really only apply to our local customers that visit us in Mission, Kansas however if you’re one of the lucky shoppers that enter a drawing (you’ll be able to enter at our shop – Mission Repair Express very soon!) the city will be raffling off $100 in gift certificates to shop in the downtown area every week.

Again, Mission Repair Express will be a “drawing signup location” and there’s no cost to enter the drawing. It’s just for fun and to boost your shopping allowance when you win! More details coming soon about this contest, we’ll be in touch.

Until then, take care, I’ll be back soon.

Time travel possible at Mission Repair? Sort of.

Hello friends,

Are you a coffee drinker? Well, I picked up the habit when I worked as an outside Salesman at a different company many years ago – it just seemed like it was the right thing to do. The issue now is that if I’m at work, I drink the stuff. I do my best to avoid it on the weekends, but there are times that I splurge.

For those of you that are like me I’ve opted to install a commercial grade Keurig machine at the Mission Repair headquarters here in Olathe just for our customers. I know, it’s a small thing but customers that are waiting for their repair to be completed are welcome to grab a complimentary cup or coffee, hot chocolate or tea.

I went to grab a cup for myself this morning and noticed that I was going to brew a cup of Eight o’clock at seven o’clock.

Keurig

There’s a bit of a time paradox there- 8 at 7. It would be difficult to explain this without the picture, and it was reminiscent of time travel and 1.21 gigawatts. If you don’t know what that’s referring to, then you need to catch up on your Eighties Michael J. Fox movies šŸ™‚

In any case- whether you need it a repair or not, you’re welcome to stop by for a cup of coffee any time, say hello! If you show up in a DeLorean, you get extra credit.

Take care, Ryan

Grand Canyon!

So I just took a flight out to the West Coast for a little business and stopped to take in the beauty and nature at the Grand Canyon.

Isn't it Grand?

OK, well, I didn’t really stop, nor was I able to hear the wind whistling through through the canyon – because I was 5 miles high moving at 350 miles per hour. . .however the view was still very good. (I thought it would be bigger šŸ˜‰

I took this picture “just because”. . .I guess that I should really head to the Grand Canyon with the kids sometime because I’ve never really been there.

OK, just sharing a cool pic. I tell you what, do you know what airline this is? Can you tell by the colors on the side? Well then, if you need an iPhone or Cell phone repair, shop online at Mission Repair to set up your service. When checking out, type in the name of this airline in the coupon code redemption box. When you do, it will give you 15% off ANY SERVICE now through 1/23/11 at midnight. Remember that this coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupon, but it will give you or best deal of 15% off.

Can’t figure out what airline it is? No problem, just call in and talk to a sales rep for a clue. . .

Thanks, Ryan

5 new cell phone repairs announced!

Hello there. Ok, since my last post the snow really coming down now. It’s dropping in big flakes and I think that it’s going to be a winter wonderland before rush hour tonight. This means that we have to decide on how to get out of here in a few hours without getting stranded!

Well, since we’re stuck for a little bit we finished up a few more services that are guaranteed to grab some attention. . .normally I’ll post one blog entry per new repair but my team is loading up faster than I can get to them.

Mission Repair can service your Samsung phone!

So here I am getting caught up with my marketing. I know that it doesn’t give the individual attention to each of these new services but give me a break šŸ˜‰ I’m still getting them out there and they will index on on the search engines soon. Without further delay:

Dell Streak 5 Glass Repair (this screen is HUGE!)
Samsung Continuum Glass Repair
Motorola BackFlip Glass Repair
HTC 7 Mozart Screen Repair
Motorola i1 LCD Repair

Whew, did you get all of that? I know, it’s a list of repairs. Well that was my goal today – to get these listed on our blog and get the marketing rolling.
