Let Us Pick It Up!

Hello M:R Nation –

We try very hard to make your repair experience as seamless and stress free as possible. This is actually something that we work on consistently. We didn’t set up our procedures 8 years ago and leave them to sit stagnate. We work very hard to change with the times and answer to our customer comments and complaints. This is how our shipping kit was born!

The shipping kit is a big part of Mission Repair and it too has evolved over the years. Starting out as a huge, bulky cardboard boxes, we have worked hard to slim down all of our kits to not only cut down on weight, but to use less material for environmental reasons. Check out the laptop shipping kit and the changes we have made:

We were able to cut the material we used in half and maintain the same protection as our old, bulky shipper. This shipping kit fits the smallest smallest of netbooks to the largest of laptops and protects your computer for its long haul to Kansas City!

We are serious about both convenience and protection and this is exactly what our shipping kits offer! So If you have a smartphone, iPod,  tablet or laptop that is in need of attention, let us pick it up for you! You can choose this option when starting you repair order. Click the “inbound” drop-down button and select “send me a (ground/overnight) shipping kit”. From here, we will dispatch the materials to your doorstep, you package it up and call Fedex to stop back by to pick up your device for repair. It’s that simple!

If you have any further questions about our shipping kits, call Derrick in our shipping department (866-638-8402). He would be happy to answer questions you might have!

Cheers, Troy

Fedex is our carrier of choice- but watch out for that weather!

Hello friends-

This is just a friendly reminder that with all of this crazy winter weather we’re getting around the USA (already) has already caused delays with shipping and deliveries.

As of today, FedEx has posted on their website that they have resumed normal operations:

But please be aware that we have already experienced delays in shipping this month and with a new batch of cold and icy weather headed our way this weekend, shipping delays seem inevitable. We will continue to try our hardest to get your devices in and out as fast as humanly possible at Mission Repair– the rest is up to Mother Nature. I’ll do my best to keep her happy.

Take care, stay warm,

Ryan

Mission Repair uses FedEx. You want your device back safely, right?

Happy Thursday everyone!

We’re rockin’ here at the Mission Repair base and I just checked my FedEx bill from last month. . .and it was our biggest shipping bill in the company history. I’m sharing this information not to talk about raising our rates or to say that FedEx is overcharging, but to say that we had a record number of orders so naturally we have a record “size” shipping bill.

Additionally, after doing our monthly shipping audit, I’m happy to report we had ZERO shipping damages and ZERO loss claims last month. In fact, we have had only 1 damage claim since January 1st, 2011. This is roughly one damage claim per 10,000 shipments. I call this an overwhelming success and we’ve picked the top dog in the shipping industry to use.

We’ve also worked with FedEx to make sure that damages don’t occur in shipping. Check out this short video to see how our shipping kit stands out!

You trust Mission Repair with your expensive electronics when they need service. We trust FedEx because we want the best delivery service available!

Thanks, I’ll be back soon, we’re adding 3 new services today that I’m excited about!

Dell repairs are flowing at Mission Repair!

Hi everyone- just a reminder, we are rocking over here at Mission Repair performing Windows based PC Dell Laptop screen repairs and our turnaround is just ONE BUSINESS DAY. How can we do it? Well, it’s magic.

So remember us in the future when you see your friend drop their Dell laptop on the kitchen floor, in the dorm room, or at the office. . .(this will usually result in a cracked screen for sure). . .and when we get it, like magic, it’ll come back to you looking good as new!

Thanks everyone have a great Tuesday. Ryan

New Mission Repair homepage look coming soon!

Hello again! I just finished a meeting with our Webmaster, Marc, and he’s finishing his newest project – redesigning our Homepage at Mission Repair. With a few tweaks and additions, we think that you’re going to be able to find your repairs faster and navigate our website even easier than before. Why the change? It’s because you asked for it. At no point do we want to confuse or lose customers due to website design!

Stay tuned for an updated look. Marc, I suggest you close your door, put your phone on “mute” and focus on the job. It’s gonna be great! New www.missionrepair.com homepage coming soon! (Shooting for Friday of this week!)

See ya, Ryan
