The Kracken?

Hi there!  Have a cracked screen?

At first glance, it doesn’t even look recognizable.  This is an iPhone 6 that arrived recently at the Mission Repair lab in Lenexa Kansas, and it needed some TLC to say the least.

Sydney got right on it and cleanly removed the shattered screen assembly.  She’s not one to mess around and she’s got the technical capability and tenacity to get this tedious job done fast.  She’s a “robo-tech”.  That’s a compliment!

To answer my own question, no we typically don’t see screens more damaged than this.  This one is pretty bad, but fortunately all that was needed was an iPhone 6 screen to be installed and the customer was on their way.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Good morning friends- so I’m here at the Lakewood Mission Repair location preparing for the big Ribbon Cutting this afternoon and I got this pic emailed over to me from our Olathe office:

It made me laugh. It’s ok to laugh. From left to right, that’s Tayler, Sydney and Wade all ready to make leprechaun magic happen today. Yes, I’m wearing green today as well, but here at Mission Repair we’ve somewhat adopted St. Patrick’s Day as our favorite day. It’s the green that matches our company colors…and since it’s a “fun” holiday, it fits our theme.

It’s why we are having our Ribbon Cutting here in Lakewood, Colorado today. This was intentional, and I’ll be sure to post some pics for you to get a good chuckle at later of myself and my crew here. Yes, we’ll all be wearing some sort of green in our ensembles; but I won’t be wearing a bow tie. That’s all for Wade.

Have a great day, Ryan

iPhone 6 screen repairs – becoming more popular than you think.

Hello everyone,

I just noticed a new trend and that we’re buying a lot more iPhone 6 screens lately. Like a lot more.

The iPhone 6 screens have been in high demand, but they were also very expensive at the onset of these services. Now that a few months have gone by, the cost of the screen has been driven down and this service has become more affordable for all of our customers.

I’d be willing to bet that these screens will soon take over the majority of our screen repairs; it’s already apparent that they are breaking constantly…so if you’ve got an iPhone 6 that DOESN’T have a cracked screen, take care of it!

In fact, I’m still running a “purist” format and I don’t have a case on my screen at this point. It’s looks so nice as a “naked” iPhone 6, but I just know that I’m asking for trouble the first time it falls onto the ground. Mistakes happen, that’s why Mission Repair was born.

Remember that we continue to pioneer new services for our customers and the iPhone 6 screen repair service is almost “old news” at this point. It’s time for a new product. Apple, you listening?

Have a great Wednesday evening, Ryan

We know that the “come out” price was high, and I know now that even at $239, the price is going to drop lower over the next couple of months. I am so happy that we are now in a great position to lead the market pricing, and today is the day of redemption.

You won’t find a lower price on this particular repair…until you see that we’re able to lower our price again. I predicted that we’d be able to lower our price by the end of the year, it’s January 2nd, so I don’t feel too far off 😉

I hope you had a great New Year Day yesterday, I’ll talk to you again next week!

Take care, Ryan
