We’re hiring again and you get 10% off!

Hello all, it’s starting to really ramp up here at Mission Repair and we just started an additional new full-time customer service representative. His name is Robbie Befort, and he’s busy taking your calls and orders. Robbie comes from a large company with a ton of tech support and telephone experience. He’s also a really nice guy. We are looking for 2 more good technicians, so get your resumes in asap!

You can count on him to take care of you. . .in fact, when you call in, ask for Robbie and he’ll give you a coupon code for 10% off your order. But remember, you must call in 1-866-638-8402 and ask for Robbie, then ask Robbie for the coupon code!! I’ll make this coupon code good through the end of August 2009, so hurry and start saving on your next iPod repair, iPhone repair, MacBook or PowerBook repair!

Remember you get 10% off when you call for Robbie, and this special will be good though 5pm on August 31st, 2009!

Thanks, talk to you soon, Ryan

Apple’s Last Macworld?

It just came across my desk, and I had to do a double take.

“Macworld 2009 will be Apple’s last, Jobs won’t be keynote.”

Huh? Wow. Apple has been a staple at Macworld. . .forever. I was at the last Macworld in Boston a few years ago and it was surreal that they shut that show down. Ok, I can see having only 1 Macworld per year. However now Apple appears to be dropping out of the Macworld trade show completely. Hmmm, interesting! I’m going to miss Steve Jobs’ announcements. See the official announcement here.

Take care, Ryan

I have a small hint for you: we’ll be talking “nano iPhone” very soon!

Thanksgiving Break Holiday Hours at Mission Repair!

Hello all-

Just a quick reminder that we’re going to be closed on Thursday 9/27/08 and Friday 9/28/08 for the Thanksgiving break. This gives us a long holiday weekend for us to catch up with our families and get prepared for our busy months of December and January coming up quickly!

Yes, we’re officially closed Thursday and Friday, however you might catch me in here for a few hours at a time, it’s just impossible to not be here. It’s a good thing 😉

However, just so you are aware, FedEx WILL be open on Friday, yeah! When we overnight our repairs back to you tomorrow (Wednesday) you will receive them on Friday the 28th. Sound OK? Does to me!

Thanks, if I don’t talk to you tomorrow, I’ll be shooting a blog post Friday with a “Black Friday” Service Special. You might just want to check it out!

Thanks, Ryan

Mission Repair Affiliate Program is LIVE!

Hello all, and thanks to everyone that already signed up! Our Affiliate Program is live and calculating payouts as we speak. We already have several key Affiliates that have whole-heartedly implemented the program on their websites, and on a daily basis we see their accounts building up.

We’ll “cash” you out (via Company Check) on a monthly basis. Our Affiliate program doesn’t require huge banners (it can be as simple as a text link) or any work from your part after it’s set up. All you need to do it “let” people click on our link from your website and our system takes care of the rest. It’ll track the customer all the way through a sale, even if they leave and come back to our site directly! You can rest assured that if you sent a customer our way and the customer placed an order, you’d get 5% of the total! You’ll be making money while you sleep.

Sign up now. Mission Repair’s Affiliate Referral Program. Our Affiliate manager is standing by!

Take care, Ryan

Mission Repair teams up with local companies to Build Houses?

That’s right, your friendly Apple repair team isn’t just all about fixing computers, phones and iPods! Some of the Mission Repair crew put down their little screwdrivers this fall to pick up, well, bigger screwdrivers (and hammers) to help the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

Dave does quality MacBook repairs too!

What we hope will be an annual event, some of us took the day off to help in the building of affordable housing in North Kansas City. It was a beautiful day for the event and the turnout was great. Over twenty people, volunteers from several local companies and independent individuals joined together to lay gravel, frame walls, route cables and pound nails on this soon-to-be-home. It was tough work but everyone left with a renewed sense of pride!

If you ever get the chance, we highly recommend giving a hand to your local chapter of Habitat for Humanity! It feels great to help make homes for people to create memories in! Plus you can always take your iPod along for a little motivational music!
