Good Morning!

Good Morning M:R Nation –

I hope everyone has had a great weekend. Mine included a a toy car, a toy car launcher and my eye ball… Ouch! I’m sure my 3 year old son didn’t mean to, but it definitely seemed calculated. Luckily my eye is feeling better today and I am ready for what Monday has to offer.

Something I have wanted to post for a long time is our Top Selling Products list. Like on most e-commerce sites, this is something you can find on various pages of missionrepair.com , but why not make it easy for you and just post it here? Below you will see data directly from out “back end” stats numbered 1-6. They have in no way been manipulated

MISSION REPAIR TOP SELLERS

1)  4th Gen iPod Touch BLACK Front Glass/Digitizer & LCD Repair

2 ) iPad 2 Glass and Digitizer Front Panel Repair Service – Black

4) iPhone 4 Front Glass Screen Repair. Touch Screen Repair Service.

5) iPad 2 Glass and Digitizer Front Panel Repair Service – White

As you can see, this list is mostly filled by Apple products, but our other repairs such as HTC, Samsung and Motorola services are getting up there! It looks like a Samsung repair service already found its way to up to the # 3 position. This list is always changing. There is just no way to tell whats going to break next!

I’m sure we will be seeing more of each other today, but until then –

Cheers, Troy!

If I only had $39 Billion laying around. (I’m a couple bucks short)

So did you hear the big news? AT&T (our favorite Apple phone service provider) just bought T-Mobile for $39 billion. They announced the definitive agreement in cash and stock which I assume would be paid over many years, but the agreement has been approved by both companies.

What does this mean for us, the AT&T users? Well hopefully this means that their high-speed mobile broadband service will improve in quality and coverage including all of the little pockets and rural areas where my phone breaks up.

That, and no more T-Mobile Stores. . .interesting! Keep your eyes and ears open for more AT&T and Apple news. I just have a feeling there’s more to come.

Thanks, Ryan

Mission Repair Quality Control. Does the competition stand a chance?

Happy Friday everyone- we are happy to bring another level of expertise and peace of mind when you use Mission Repair as your Apple Service Provider of choice. We have always performed Quality Control and Quality Assurance here in our service lab, but I just wanted to take the time to tell you a little more about it. When you receive a repair back from us, enclosed you’ll find a card that looks something like this:

What you see here is a culmination of work and double checks and pride that goes into each and every repair. On the left, you see your Technician’s name. In this case, it’s Brandon, with his email address and his telephone extension. On the right you see the Quality Control Technician, who is Huck, with his contact information listed as well.

How can we improve this? Let me know. After the technician performs his repair, the device is sent to the Quality Control Department for QA check. The QA Tech then a complete overview and assurance check of the part(s) that were installed, then places the QA Sheet into the box which moves on to shipping.

Could we make the repair process any better? Well of course we make mistakes. Of course we have warranty repairs that we need to perform. The fact is that we just have one of the best RMA rates in the business. That’s good for you and Mission Repair – it just takes a little extra work to make it right 😉

Hey everyone, have a great weekend. I’ll be out BBQ’ing with the family, my sister is up here from San Antonio so I get to spend a little time with the nieces!

See ya, Ryan

1095 Emails. I’m gonna be here a while!

Here’s a quick screen shot of my email inbox as of 4:39pm this afternoon:

I promise that I’m NOT just sitting around watching my inbox grow! I’m am truly trying to reply to each of these as they come in, but come on. I’m only one man 😉

Well, I’ve hired 4 new employees in the last week. Business is really ramping up and it’s obvious that we are in dire need of assistance. My email inbox is living proof of it!

I guess this blog is to inform you that if you’ve emailed me, I’m not ignoring you- I’ll be in touch VERY soon. Thanks for your patience, and as I delegate some of these out to my new SUPER STAFF here at Mission Repair, we’ll get my email back under control! 1095, yikes!

Hey, I needed to brush up on my typing anyway. In fact, why am I here typing this blog when I should be attending to my email? Good question. . .take care I’m outta here!

AT&T Maintains its Grip on the iPhone until 2012.

I normally don’t “re-press” news that I see on the internet – however I thought that this was interesting. I read in PCWorld a few minutes ago that Apple and AT&T have struck a deal THROUGH 2012. What happened to Verizon? Oh well. Hang in there Ver’ your chance will come.

I wish AT&T had better service. How about you? You know what I’d like? 4G mobile broadband service. Oops – I’ve said too much, we’ll be back VERY SOON with info on 4G mobile WIMAX broadband. Never heard of it? You will in a month.

OK, well there we have it. AT&T and Apple and the iPhone are on lock down for a couple more years. I guess I’ll let my contract renew and we’ll deal with the issues. Still better than NOT having an iPhone!

10% off coupon and Mission Repair’s Anniversary!

Well hello again! Every time I sit down to blog, I get bogged down. Or clogged up. Or log jammed. Ok, I’m trying to alliterate off of “blog” and it’s not really working so I’ll move on.

100_0343

We had our business Anniversary today so we brought in lunch for the group and had a cake made for the occasion (Yes, I know, April Fool’s Day). This cake weighed in at just about 20 pounds, so after everyone got a reasonably sized hunk, it still left us with about 12 pounds of cake leftover. Need a piece? Come on down today or tomorrow and I’ll personally serve it up for you! Seriously my friend in the cake business (Michelle Canning) whipped up this beauty last night. Yes that’s raspberry filling too. Yummy.

So we got to talking to our employees about our accomplishments within this last year and we’ve come a long way. It’s exciting to see our “baby” continue to grow and we’re treating it right.

In honor of our Anniversary and to start us off right for another successful consecutive year, we’re offering 10% off on any product or service through Mission Repair for the next week. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other special coupon and expires on Midnight 4/8/09 so get your order in soon to capitalize. Just use coupon code “20CAKE” to receive your discount!

Thanks for reading, talk to you soon. Ryan

Operation:Education. Mission Repair is giving back to America’s Schools!

Hello everyone! This is the big one, we’ve got our newest program in place! Remember this:

Mission Repair's Operation:Education Program!

Mission Repair's Operation:Education Program!

You heard it here first, but it’s going to hit the public eye here next week. I’m so excited that I HAD to let out a quick blog. We here at Mission Repair are teaming up with the Nation’s public school system by partnering in a beneficial program designed by us to assist the schools.

Here’s the background:

We repair iPods, iPhones, MacBooks, Cell Phones, and more. You know this, it’s nothing new. I was at my daughter’s school and was talking with the Principal who’s a great guy. He mentioned that he just received his 2010 budget cutbacks and that my school district’s budget was cut by more than $800,000. I was shocked!

My thought process continued. . .”I’m already repairing iPods, iPhones and MacBooks for students and parents and schools all over the country. How can our business help this economic situation?” It hit me. I want to donate back to the schools, and specifically, I want to work with the schools so they get a check proportionate to the amount of business we receive from it’s students and their families- the more they promote it, the more visits we’ll get the more we’ll donate. All I need to do is ask the schools to ask the students (and parents) to visit us and we’ll somehow have to figure out how to track it.

This has been a painstaking process, but it’s done! We have a sophisticated system in place. It’s ready. We have begun enrolling schools and they are sending repairs our way. Well, we were already getting the business, but now we’re giving back to the schools for the “help”. We are donating up to 10% of the total gross sales accumulated from referrals each quarter. It’s now our obligation and mission, here at Mission Repair.

Mission Repair’s Operation:Education Program is here. We’ll donate to your school and it’s a painless fundraiser. If you’d like to get your school signed up, you can start here:

There’s no obligation, nothing will be billed to the school and we’ll be happy to send your school a check for referrals. It’s a long lasting relationship!

If you have any questions (as you may have), feel free to send us an email!

OK, gotta run and finish a few more announcements. I’ll be back soon with the “official” word when it hits the rest of the country!

Thanks for your continued support, Ryan
