BBQ Luncheon here at Mission Repair today!

Well, this is not a formal invitation but. . .

We DO have some leftovers! Here’s a picture of Phil (left) and Austin (right) gettin’ down on some BBQ lunch munchies here at Mission Repair.

We took a break today and had the world famous Oklahoma Joe’s BBQ here in Olathe bring in 10 lbs of smoked meats. Of course we had the usual sides: potato salad, BBQ baked beans, cole slaw, rolls, and bottles of BBQ sauce!! It was so much food we have plenty of leftovers for our Saturday work tomorrow.

As you may or may not know, we are totally submersed in moving our business. We are making some major buildouts in our new space and they are almost done! The contactors have been working around the clock to get us ready to move in next week. Once they are done we can start moving some of the supplies and equipment, with all of the employees to move in on October 16th. Yup, October 16th is a critical day for us!

What this move will do for us is provide us with much more working space for our technicians and customers. This is a welcome change for all of us here and our working lifestyle is going to be much improved. Wait until you see our new breakroom. Yeah, it’s going to be NICE! We will certainly be posting a photo gallery of the new building soon. Stay in touch!!

Yup, we’ve hired a new team member, Spencer Liolios that started with us today. Spencer seems like a great guy and a welcome addition to Mission Repair. As you know, the first day on a new job can be quite nerve wracking, but he was on time and prepared for the day. We’ll see if he can make it through the hazing period! 😉

A couple random tidbits that I’ve learned about Spencer just this morning: he’s an avid paintball soldier; he recommended http://www.pbnation.com. He’s a Kansas City native, it takes him about 15 minutes to get to work and is the youngest of 3 kids in the family. He held a 3.5 GPA in school and is going to college in the fall. We welcome Spencer to the team and if you’re so inclined, you can email him here.

Hello everyone- I am just heading out to have lunch with an old friend but I had to fire off a quick entry. . .

I just updated our customer testimonials page with new submissions. Every time that I do this (about once per week), I’m always amazed at the responses we get. Well, not amazed that our service is spectacular, but amazed that our customers actually take the time out of the busy schedules to write about their experience with Mission Repair.

The more amazing part is that we do not solicit or directly ask for these submissions. They just flow in naturally from happy customers all over the country. They get nothing in return other than the satisfaction of making our day! In EVERY instance here at Mission Repair, our customer service is our top priority and the responses from these customers help us prove it.

A little snow and 5% off!

Hello everyone, it’s a winter wonderland out here in Kansas City. I pulled into the office and just had to run outside to take a quick picture of our parking lot that’s quickly being overcome by snow. Ah, the joys of seasons.
