You heard me correctly, there will be one lucky customer that receives a FREE iPAD AIR that we will obtain directly from Apple themselves (screenshot courtesy of above!) for their enjoyment.

Here’s how it’s going to work:

1. This is our “Millionth Day Giveaway” prize, which consists of (1) One Apple iPad Air, 16gb, Wi-Fi, current model as per Apple’s availability, brand new sealed package, to be given out to one lucky customer.
2. We will all be watching right here in the blog. There is a “Unique Visitor” counter in the right hand column (check it out, see it there? —>). When this counter reaches 1 Million, the next order that is placed on (or places an order with one of our customer service representatives either over the phone or in person) will win!
3. There is no purchase necessary, the winner must place an order on to be eligible. Our free diagnosis options are eligible, so I’ll reiterate that no purchase is necessary!
4. Once we reach 1 Million unique visitors on the blog, the next new order placed and completed will be announced here on the blog! It may happen at 2am or 10am, it might be a Nationwide order or a walk in order at one of our locations; it doesn’t matter. The order that is placed with us immediately after we reach 1 Million unique visitors will win!
5. Orders can be placed directly on our website at, or they can be called in at 844-459-0105, or can be placed in person during normal business hours at one of our locations. There is no cash value of the prize through Mission Repair, and substitutions will not be permitted. We’re just going to give you an iPad Air…just in time for Christmas.

Watch the Blog Stats posted here to the right, “unique visitors” is the key. You’re wanting to be the person that places there order on the moment it happens! Just look to the right ———>

I hope it’s you, and it’s the beginning of the “Millionth Day” celebrations here at Mission Repair.

Take care, Ryan

Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow Crispies? The jury is still out.

Good afternoon,

It’s been a few weeks of my son telling me that “rice crispy treats made with fruity pebbles is way better that the original” – he even went so far as to buy the marshmallows and fruity pebbles, which he kindly left for me in the pantry to make. Listen dude, this is probably the easiest thing to make short of making home made ice cubes. If you need the recipe for ice cubes, just let me know 😉

So I made them:

I can see the appeal. Visually, I give them an A+ and they even smell great. But I don’t know if it’s because I was brought up on the true original “rice crispy treat” or what, but these things are just too sweet for me and I couldn’t really even eat one.

The addition of the sugary “fruity” cereal just made my teeth hurt thinking about it, and made my not hungry for more. They are a solid C-

So I have to veto these in the Arter house, I’m not into just some “low average” treats around here. I mean that if Im going to indulge in some calories, I want to make them count. Casey, when you move out soon to your own apartment, you can make as many batches of these as you want. But when you want to come back from the dark side, just stop by ‘Ole Dad’s House for a real treat. A Rice Crispy Treat…you can’t mess with perfection. Unless you add some peanut butter to your Rice Crispy Treats, then it’s OK to mess with them 😉

Happy snacking. Ryan

iPhone 6S Parts are hitting the market!

Good morning!

Just as a finished a blog and a tweet a few minutes ago about iPhone 6S repairs, I received an email from one of our trusted vendors stating that they have the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus screens in stock. They are ready to ship…and don’t be fooled, the iPhone 6 screen is far different than the iPhone 6S screen even though they look similar!

The only caveat is that these are some of the first in the market to be released and the price is outrageous. Believe me, you wouldn’t want to buy one of these “first release” screens, even if your phone is broken. Just hang in there for another couple of weeks for the price to simmer down and you’ll save hundreds of $$.

So I’ve got my finger on the pulse here with the iPhone 6S parts, and as soon as we land (and I mean the collective “we” of the entire repair industry) on some reasonable pricing, I will active the repairs on our website.

Thanks again, have a good afternoon.

The millionth day is coming!

I’ve been talking abut it all year and it’s probably true that this is more important to me that anyone else, but we are approaching 1 million unique visitors and reads on the Mission Repair Blog (that you’re reading right now!) and as of today we are getting very close:

This month marks a very special place in our history, and our Repair Blog will reach 1 million unique visitors sometime in the next few days. At the inception of the blog several years ago, I didn’t realize the time commitment and dedication it takes to reach such an astounding number of people. These are people just like you, and I thank you for reading it. If you’re not already a subscriber, you can preview the blog here and subscribe if you’d like!

On the “Millionth Day” (as I’m calling it), we will be celebrating with some great specials, announcements, and prizes. I will be watching closely and as of today, October 7nd, 2015, we are currently at almost 998,000 reads and counting. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to write and you’ll have to check the blog for the never-before-seen specials and giveaways that will appear very shortly. See you there, it will be a cyber party and I’m going all out!

So I’m still contemplating about a giveaway. What would you be most interested in? An iPad maybe? How about a new iPhone? Recently we donated a GoPro camera to a worthy cause and that seemed to be a huge hit. No matter what it is, I’ll announce it soon so check back here often if you want to get in on the action!

Take care, Ryan

iPhone 6S Repairs-

Hello there iPhone fans-

It’s only be a few short weeks since the iPhone 6S has been released and we’ve unfortunately already had several calls from customers asking to have their screen repaired…in fact, this customer came in Monday to show us his cracked iPhone 6S screen, you can see the crack down by the home button:

It’s unfortunate because we’re not quite ready to perform the repairs on these devices yet (they are “coming soon” on our website!), the parts are just still a couple weeks for repair centers like Mission Repair to obtain. Otherwise we are good to go.

So check back if you need that iPhone 6S or 6S Plus repaired some time in November; that’s my best guess but it could be sooner. I’ll let you know the day they are available, thanks!
