Hello again friends,
I received and email from a competitor that didn’t like my use of the term. Well, the truth of the matter is that we didn’t bestow the award onto ourselves. It was given to us by “TopTenReviews.com”, which is an independent rating site that found us on their own, rated us on their rating system, and gave us their top “Gold Award” every year for 6 years.
It’s a testament to our business, how it’s being run, and response to our services.
But it’s ok, I understand. However I can’t take it back; but on the other hand we’re not perfect. We are always trying to make improvements, offer more services, stay current with our pricing and stay on top of each repair and each customer in a way that helps everyone.
In fact, that’s why we opened a new location just outside of Denver, Colorado. We’ve hired several new employees (in fact Allen from Denver is at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, Kansas now completing some training!) and being local in more cities does make sense for us.
That’s why we announcing our newest location in Indianapolis very soon. It’s an exciting time!!
I thank all of our customers. We appreciate you all. You’re why we are here, and why we care. If you have any questions for us, take some time to give us a call toll-free at 866-638-8402 and we’ll do what we can to help you out.
Have a great day, Ryan
Hello again and good morning!
We received a walk-in customer that delivered this computer to us:
The customer’s computer was bulging and you can see the trackpad popping up off of the palmrest. What caused this catastrophe? It was a BAD BATTERY that shorted out, “bulged” and basically bent this computer out of shape.
Unfortunately, there were a few parts that we needed to replace on this unit to get it back to normal working shape; but it’s not a problem for Mission Repair.
The question is “how could have the customer avoided this?”. That’s a tough one to answer; because there isn’t much that could be done. These things can just happen from time to time. I know that’s not a great answer; but it’s the nature of batteries unfortunately. The only advice that I can give is to periodically replace the battery in your computer on a routine basis – before a disaster happens.
If you do have a “meltdown”, give us a call!
Spring is here! The weather in Kansas City has been beautiful lately and it just seems to put everyone in a good mood when the weather is nice. That is however, unless you become a victim of a shattered screen, like this one a customer brought in today. Ouch!Electronic devices are VERY important to all of us in this day and age and when they stop working correctly, it can throw your whole routine off. Mission Repair is here to help and we have a long line of iPad repair services. Whether you have a cracked screen, broken home button, faulty charging port, or worse – Mission Repair has you covered.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Place your 24 Hr iPad Screen Repair order online at www.missionrepair.com, over the phone (1-866-638-8402) or stop by one of our walk-in locations.
Step 2: Once your order has been placed you will receive a confirmation email with your order number (This email also includes shipping instructions if you are shipping your device into our repair center. We service every address in the USA!).
Step 3: After we receive your device it will then be pre-tested prior to repairing and if ANY additional repairs are needed we will contact you immediately (we don’t perform any additional repairs without your approval). Then, one of our certified technicians will replace the defective part with a brand new one.
Step 5: The repaired iPad will then tested one more time at our Quality Assurance department to make sure everything is working properly after repair.
Step 6: Your repaired unit is shipped back to you according to your selected return shipping option. You will receive an email with tracking information once your unit has been shipped so you know when to expect it. If you stopped by one of our walk-in locations then you will receive a call notifying you that your device is ready for pick up.
From the time we receive your unit to the time it is repaired is just about 1-2 business days. It is that easy. Mission Repair has been servicing iPads across the United States since 2008. So, the next time you need your iPod, Smartphone, iPad or Laptop serviced – Mission Repair has you covered!
I stopped at a small food stand, “PIGWICH” in Kansas City for the first time yesterday and when I’m impressed by another small business I try to take the time to talk about it.
I was able to get in between the long line and get this quick picture in from of the stand. It’s similar to a “food truck” but it’s permanently in place…where you walk up, order, and get your meal from the window when they call your name.
Lennie and Allen were with me and Lennie’s “beef tongue” sandwich was spectacular…according to him. I’m not much of a “tongue” sandwich eater, so I ordered the cheese steak sandwich that was truly amazing. Here’s Lennie enjoying his lunch:
It was a perfect 70 degree day out so we sat and enjoyed some good food from some great people down at Pigwich. If you’re in town, I suggest you give it a try!
Take care, Ryan
We received a package at the Arter house last night, and it was my son’s graduation invitations. It’s getting real now!
Casey is a senior, and if you’ve ever come into our Olathe, Kansas, Mission Repair location on the weekend, you may have met him up at the front desk. He works for me part time while finishing high school. He’s graduating in a couple of months and “life” is becoming a reality for him very soon!
It truly is amazing how fast time flies when you’re not paying attention. Once Casey hits college it’s going to be quiet at home; I always told myself that once my kids were done with school, I’d done my job and then I would be free to move, sell my house, become a fisherman or whatever. But truthfully I’m happy with my life, where I’m at, what I’m doing and where I work. If I could figure out how to make enough money to sustain my lifestyle without working, I would try that path 😉 But as it stands, I haven’t solved that one yet!
So to all of the graduates that are ready to talk the “walk” – congratulations. I’ll be right there with the Spring Hill Class of 2015 taking pictures as well.
Take care, Ryan
