Cracked screens on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus?

Hello friends-

It’s just happening every day now and it’s doesn’t seem to be letting up;

We are repairing a ton of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus screens and my technicians really know the in’s and out’s of the iPhone 6 models like they were born with the gift.

Here’s a shot of one each removed, cracked screens…on the left is the mighty iPhone 6 Plus, and on the right is the iPhone 6. Both of which are totally smashed and useless to the customer. Once replaced, the customer is sent on their way and then we recycle the screens properly.

Just take a look at these parts though – some customers state that they are actually getting glass in their face and hands – we’ve had this complaint for many years on these types of phones, but the 6’s seems to be shattering even worse than the predecessors. The LCD is SO THIN and installation of the screen by untrained technicians is just not advisable. There’s glass everywhere.

Remember Mission Repair if you need an iPhone 6 repair; we’ll be here for ya. And we’ll bring the band aids.

Take care, Ryan

And the winner is…

Good afternoon and WOWSERS…

We had a lot of chili at the office for lunch! If you read Melanie’s earlier blog, you know that today was our annual Mission Repair chili cookoff competition, and I tasted everyone’s offerings. In fact, we have a 1st place prize for “best overall chili” and 1st place prize for “best side dish”.

You’ll see here Melanie (on the left) and Katie (on the right) handing out bowls of chili to the judges that were just around the corner. We bring in a few gentlemen from neighboring businesses to help judge – they aren’t biased and they love this event year after year!

This picture is a perfect one; not just because these two lovely ladies are in it; but rather they each won first prize this year. Katie for best chili and Melanie for best side dish. Nice work!

It’s interesting because it seems to typically be one of our female contestants that wins every year. Yes, there is plenty of “male” participation but we just don’t have much finesse. We think that “burn the roof off of your mouth” or “I’m gonna have a stomach ache in 30 minutes” is the kind of chili that will win the judges hearts. Nope, we just never learn.

Katie’s chili was a hearty red chili with the right amount of spices and she topped each bowl off with shredded cheese, Frito corn chips and a dollop of sour cream. Remember, presentation goes a long way. Melanie simply smashed the side dish with a rice crispy treat cupcake topped with peanut butter and chocolate icing. Yup, that’ll do it every time.

Until next year, thanks for reading and I’ll be back soon!

Take care, Ryan

P.S. Do you think these ladies are Royals fans or what?

Today is Our 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off!

Good morning! It is one of my favorite days of the year today at Mission:Repair. Our 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off is taking place this afternoon and I’m really excited! There’s nothing like a little friendly competition and a chance to win cash from the boss. We have two different categories for our Cook-Off 1. Best Chili and 2. Best Side Dish (including desserts!). The winner of Best Chili will take home $100 and the Side Dish winner will take home $20. I sneaked upstairs this morning to the kitchenette to take a peak at the competition and I cannot wait to try them all – my stomach is already growling!

Our judges have been recruited from a neighboring business to keep the competition fair and judging begins at noon sharp! Stay tuned this afternoon when we reveal the winners right here on our blog.

Have a great day,
