Cracked iPhone 6 Plus screen repair – success!

Hello again, it’s been a busy blogging morning-

Earlier today I wrote a short blog about a cracked iPhone 6 Plus screen that we received in for repair. The picture was pretty devastating, and you can see that original blog here. If you click the link you can see the “before” picture. Here’s the “after”:

Notice that the customer’s background image is still there. That’s because we DON’T mess with your data when we service a unit at Mission Repair…unless it’s the data that’s the issue. In the case of a screen repair, we’ll simply replace the screen so when our customers get their phone back, it’s just like it was before the screen was damaged. This is a HUGE value and time saver for anyone that has had to migrate or restore a backup from the cloud. Every time I do it, it seems like I have issues.

This customer is done, out the door and back in business. I do recommend a case for the iPhone 6 Plus…just simply because of the size of the unit is difficult to manage for some people. We all know that accidents can happen, but if you can avoid dropping your iPhone 6 Plus…well, accidents happen.

Take care, Ryan

Yes, we take walk in customers at all of our locations. But did you know that we service phones from all corners of the USA? That’s right, with our amazing shipping prices and super-fast turnaround, we are fixing phones in every state and we’ll even come to your door to have your device picked up and delivered. Now that’s service!

lgg3

There are several models of the LG G3, and we’re going to cover them all. There’s the LG D850, the D851, D855, and on up to the VS985. You might not know or even care what all of these numbers mean; that’s OK, we do and we’ll make sure you get the right parts and services for your phone.

Some people are saying that the LG G3 is the company’s best phone yet. Bigger, higher resolution, simpler to use. That’s how we described LG’s latest flagship, the G3. The headline feature is, without a doubt, that Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440) screen. The G3’s not just a one-trick pony; there’s a lot going on under that screen and there is a lot of talk about this new phone in the market now that it’s been in customers hands for a few months.

Let us know if you have any issues with your G3 or is you need a screen repaired – we’ll be here at Mission Repair to take care of business.

Until then, have a great day and I’ll be back with a followup blog about the repaired iPhone 6 PLUS.

Best, Ryan

iPhone 6 Plus cracked screen – it happens.

Good morning-

I haven’t blogged about the iPhone 6 Plus cracked screens yet, so I grabbed a customer unit to show exactly what can happen when these beauties are dropped. Just as suspected…they crack! You can’t really stop physics, so it’s a good idea to take extra care when handling a large device like the iPhone 6 Plus.

I feel terrible for this customer…it’s truly a hassle for the customer to have to perform a repair like this on a phone that is just so new…and so expensive. Yes, Mission Repair is here for customers like this; however we pride ourselves on keeping units active and working for a LONG time (when I was in the tech room earlier today I saw an original iPhone screen being repaired!) but we’re also here for the newest, latest and greatest when we can be of service.

Once my techs are completed with this iPhone 6 Plus screen repair, I’ll post a follow up blog to show you the difference. You can probably imagine that it’ll look like a new phone…and it will.

Until then, I’ll be back shortly.

Take care, Ryan

P.S. For those of you that are interested: I checked this customer’s iPhone 6 Plus to see if it was bent…and it’s NOT!
