iPod Repair at Mission Repair; a number one seller!

Hello friends of Mission Repair –

I just went over our May 2014 metrics, and once again iPod Repair is our number one selling service; to be more specific the 4th Generation iPod Touch Screen Repair takes top honors.

It’s fitting because I’ve been in the iPod repair business since the first iPod was delivered to anxious customers- do you remember these beauties?

Well times have changed since the 1st Generation iPod was delivered; no touch-sensitive “anything” there. They had a spinning click wheel and greyscale screen. I bet my kids would have a good chuckle if I handed them one of these and said “here’s your iPod”. In fact, that sounds like a great idea!

Fast forward to today and we’re fixing iPods by the thousands here at Mission Repair. There was one noteworthy anomaly in May that caught my eye. iPads took second place just behind the iPods by just one less unit. That’s in interesting shift to iPads and I’m certainly going to keep my eyes on that. We might see iPad overcome the iPod as the most proliferate repair at our business soon. Times are-a-changing!

Remember Mission Repair when in need of that iPod Repair – I’ve been doing them since 2001. Wow.

Take care, Ryan

The secret life of Walter Mitty at Ryan’s house.

Good morning!

So I was a little under the weather last night and decided to stay home and curl up with a movie on my Apple TV…sometimes it’s good to just unwind and sit still for a while. For me, that seems to be a challenge!

Mitty

I was scrolling through the potential movies and landed on “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” and rented it. The reviews were not that great from what I saw, but the trailer had me interested.

As the movie started and progressed it was an interesting style…but in the end I really enjoyed it. I’m not one that goes out to the movies much; so it didn’t surprise me that I hadn’t seen this in the theaters. However I am surprised that I hadn’t heard more about it. The story was interesting, the music in the movie was spot on and independent, and I even thought that Ben “White Goodman” Stiller did a great job.

The movie spoke to me and I guess that’s what left the best impression on me.

Did you ask for my opinion on this? No, but I thought I’d share anyway 😉

Two thumbs up from the Arter house and if you’re looking for an interesting movie, give this one a shot sometime! Have a good afternoon.

World Environment Day approaches…do your part!

Hello fellow inhabitants of planet Earth!

If you received my newsletter last night, you know that we are participating in World Environment Day (WED) and we here at Mission Repair are trying to do our part!

If you’re interested in making a difference, whether you’re and individual or a business, you can register your activity on their website like we have done:

Once you do, you’ll see a huge list of others from around the world that are also joining in to make a difference. Their motto is “Raise your voice, not the sea level” and the movement is raising awareness to as many people as they can so we can all join as one and do our part to help save the environment.

Tomorrow, June 5th, 2014 is the official World Environment Day that is being hosted in Florida this year…but as we all know this is a daily activity and even I need a reminder from time to time to make sure that I help when I can.

Today, I’m reaching out to almost 1 million of our blog readers to share the news…if you have time, take a moment to visit the official WED website here!

Take care, Ryan
