Macbook Pro Keyboard Repair Service!

Hello M:R Nation –

Coffee, beer, water, hot chocolate, motor oil… you name the liquid, we have seen it spilt on a keyboard. From one customers account, who has spilled multiple liquids on multiple computers, “It all happens in slow motion… I hit the cup with my hand and SPLASH, all over my keyboard….again!”

When something like a liquid spillage occurs, the results will vary depending on said liquid. The keys will stick, become “spongy”, fall off and in most cases, stop working all together. This makes it hard to input anything into your laptop. Most people resort to a usb keyboard. There is nothing fun about going to your favorite coffee ship and taking out your sleek Macbook Pro and then whipping out a huge keyboard. It’s called a “Laptop” for a reason :-).

First ever edition of Jake’s Tech Tid-bit – look for this logo when the blog hits and you just might learn something new…or maybe not! Hello there fellow techies!

Captain Bayes reporting for duty!

Captain Bayes reporting for duty!

My name is Jake Bayes. I am the Technician Supervisor/Production Manager here at Mission Repair! I am sure everyone of you has forever been wondering who the person is that fixes all your lovely devices that you send to us! As much as I like to think I am the only one that fixes your broken screen we do however have a very talented staff that I give all the credit to! It sure does make my job easier knowing I can insure your device (iPod, iPhone, iPad, well you get the idea) is back in your hands in a timely manner. But needless to say, I am the person that makes sure we have the correct part and the part is here awaiting for your device to be fixed and shipped.

I have been with Mission Repair for almost 4 years now. I started in the shipping area and have learned my way to where I am now. For the most part, my time here has been behind the scenes and I have finally convinced Ryan to let me join in on this blog fun. Like i said before I’m sure you all have just been foaming at the mouth for me to introduce myself. I have always had an infatuation with repairing things and ever since I was a young boy I have been tearing things apart and attempting to put them back together. It’s been a great hobby of mine in the past and the best part about it is now I get paid to do it!

This is the first part of my new adventure in to the blogging world. I will be creating a weekly “Tech Tid-Bit” for all the techies out there that want to come and see something I found interesting that a lot of people may not know about. If you ever have a technical question and need someone to call please don’t hesitate- give us a shout at 866-638-8402 or send our service staff an email. Our sales team is very knowledgable and if they can’t answer your question I would be glad to answer it!! Check back with me next week and I will have my very first “Tech Tid-Bit”.

Your Tech Junkie!

Jake

Now Available: 15″ Macbook Pro Unibody Trackpad Repair Service!

Hello M:R Nation –

I have a great new service to discuss with all of you 15″ Unibody Macbook Pro owners today. We  are now offering the 15″ Macbook Pro Unibody Trackpad Repair Service for direct order on Missionrepair.com! We use to make you send it in, let us diagnose is and then let you know that you have a trackpad issue . Then we thought, “Well if it is shattered, you already know what the issue is” so the birth child of that thinking created this BRAND NEW service!

 Macbook 15" Cracked Track Pad

Did you know that that trackpad that you use on a daily basis is glass? Yep, it’s true ! The thing your finger slides on to control your 15″ Unibody Macbook Pro is actually the same thing you touch when using your iPad and iPhone. Granted, it is a different color and it’s a little stronger. While your trackpad can crack like the above image, there is also the the treat of the touch or click function failing. If that occurs, this is still the service for you!

If you have any questions on this service, give us a call at 866-638-8402 or chat in, we would love to hear from you!

Cheers, Troy
