This Just In: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Glass Repair Service!

Hello M:R Nation –

Welcome to the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Glass Repair Service! We have been flooded with folks needing this service over the last month and it has finally arrived! This device is not to be confused with the Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone (we have been repairing those for years). This is a larger, more powerful tablet that Samsung released last year.

With an obvious 10.1″ screen, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 comes with some, not so obvious features for a tablet. You actually have ability to make a call on this bad boy with its GSM voice communication support! It has 2GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage, a quad core processor and a 5MP camera with a flash! This is a stacked tablet and it deserves some respect 🙂

Now this is a nice tablet!

Starting today we are offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Glass Repair Service (White) and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Glass Repair Service (Black)! We are expecting to help a lot of folks with their cracked screen issues and we can’t wait to get started! You can start your repair service in a few of different ways:

Enjoy and have a great day!

Cheers, Troy

“But there’s a guy repairing iPhones on Craigslist that’s $10 cheaper”.

Hi again everyone…we hear it every day.

Yes there probably is a guy on Craigslist offering iPhone Repairs and his advertisements sound appealing…check out this example (you can click on it to get a closer look):

iPhone Repairs – This guy knows more about phones than ANYONE else!

Yes, that’s a nice line of phone repairs. I especially like the tag line at the bottom “Won’t find anyone else that knows more than me in town”. That’s a bold statement!

Then there are random other ads like this one right in our home town:

Watch out for illegal parts!

Please don’t ask about color conversion, Red, blue, pink etc – because these are counterfeit parts and illegal for sale! I would most certainly stay away from anyone selling or touting illegal parts. Apple never made a pink iPhone so how is this guy getting trustworthy parts for it?!?

What you’ll find when you call these ads in many cases is a person performing repairs and services on the “side” – which can be ok – if you don’t mind risking your device to an individual that you might not ever be able to get a hold of again or worse – may damage your unit beyond repair and also take your money. With all of the scares about Craigslist and the number of police reports about fraud, thefts and physical bodily harm that can come from meeting someone on Craigslist…it’s just not worth the $10 savings that you might receive in my opinion!

The truth of the matter is that most of these “businesses” are NOT legitimate. Some are, but anyone doing repairs in their spare time and making money…needs to have a business license, pay taxes, provide receipts and a long list of other requirements just to operate LEGALLY. A legally operated business will stand behind their services, have a business entity established and reports their income to the IRS.

Think about it- if you deal with a person that doesn’t report their income to the IRS, which is illegal by the way, there’s very little accountability for them to do the right thing.

The point of this post is that we here at Mission Repair do operate “above the table”. That is, we do have an established business entity with a Federal Employer Identification Number, we do pay our taxes, we do have a physical location, we do have a toll-free customer service line that is answered 7 days a week and we do care about our customers.

So how do we combat the “lower priced” guys on Craigslist? When confronted with an ad for a service that we offer that is lower priced the sell is easy- we just explain that we offer 1 year warranties, our Got Repair benefits that come with each screen repair, we are always available 7 days a week for our customers and that we encourage walk-in business without an appointment. The bottom line is that we’ve are approaching 200,000 completed repairs at Mission Repair and we have the talent to back up our claims!

If a customer still chooses to use someone on Craigslist, that is fine with us. However we have fixed countless “Craigslist Repairs” for customers. Buyer beware!

Ok, that’s enough bashing on Craigslist. In fact, it’s not Craigslist that is the issue, because I use it from time to time. Last year I bought my son’s vehicle on there and it turned out to be a great deal!

Last tidbit- it’s not always cheaper on CL…that last ad above that touts $39 iPhone Screen repair…we perform the same repair at Mission Repair for $29. It DOES pay to shop around!

Have a great day, Ryan

Lowest price on iPod Touch 4 Screen repairs- blowing the competiton out of the water!

Good morning everyone, all I can say is “wow”.

I know that Troy just posted an entry on the iPod Touch 4 LCD and Glass Screen Repair – and it’s one of our most popular repairs – touting a new lower price on this repair…and it’s the lowest to date!

You don't need to live with this!

You don’t need to live with this!

It’s true, we are always trying to market in new ways, offer special deals and generally staying on top of our pricing as we can. This is no different, but I’m just truly excited to bring this new price to our customers. In fact, our sales today are popping off the charts as well…the word is already spreading.

I understand that Mission Repair brings value to you, “when you need us” – if you don’t have a cracked screen, chances are you’re not going to place an order with us. It makes sense. But take it from me, we are approaching 200,000 repairs at Mission Repair over the last several years and a cracked screen can happen in an instant. Just remember that there are options for those unfortunate customers and we want to be there for you if it happens to you.

OK, back to these telephones. While typing this blog my cell phone rang twice and my land line has 3 new messages. Does it ever stop? Not really…but it sure does make the days fly by!

Have a good Wednesday, Ryan
