Hello M:R Nation –
What you see here is my very own Macbook Air. Yes, it now has a cracked screen and yes, I am now sick to my stomach. Honestly, a tiny part of me really believed that I would never see this day, but alas, this day has come. Overconfidence is no friend of mine.
Now that I have confirmed that I am not immune to dropping my computer, I think back to all of the times that I have written about our Macbook Air services. I now have a better understanding of what my readers were thinking when choosing us to repair their beloved computer and I finally get a chance to use our services from the outside looking in.
Of course, I could just walk up to Justin(our senior laptop technician) and ask him politely to repair my computer, but I am going to do this the real way. I will take my computer home, wait for my box to arrive and I will ship it in like any normal customer.
Why do it this way? Because I think it will help identify any issues we might have with our overall repair process. While the process is spot on at the moment, we can never be too sure of ourselves and become complacent. So lets just call this a way of fine tuning this process. The best part, I am not going to tell any of our staff about it face to face. If they don’t read this post, they will never know its me ;-). Wish me luck!
